We loved Barcelona and the apartment

Pros: Excellent situation. Big enough. Good price / quality. Equipment enough. Two bathrooms. Clean.
Cons: Some of the equipment could be renewed, or more equipment added, and then the apartment would be perfect 20/20.
Location: The neighbourhood is elegant and quiet. There are shops, parking, restaurants close to the apartment. You can go on foot to many places to visit.
We enjoyed a lot our stay in Barcelona. The apartment is very well situated, in the center of Barcelona, close to gaudi's works and the gothic area. The building is elegant, and the apartment is very nice, with high ceilings, a balcony to the street. Good and sufficient equipment.

Rip-off and not worth it

Pros: Location
Cons: Service (non-existent), things should work. Toiletpaper etc. should be there. Replace agency.
Location: Nice location.
The agency and how you are treated is just terrible (I am from Norway). They also want you to give them another 400 Euro (for 2 days) as if they expect your to demolish the apartment. Beds are terrible and not enough heating devices. Shower not working right (spills all over) and bathroom cold and not working. Most of the things in the apartment (TV, washmashine etc.) are not working. You have to bring your own toilet paper and nothing is provided. Very disappointed that Expedia offers this agency. Apartment could be ok; but they way they run this it is a rip-off.

We take this opportunity to let guests know that if they cannot have the TV or washing machine working (they were not broken), or if the flexible of a shower is leaking, or if they feel there are not enough heaters, we are here to take care of it, a call is enough. This is an apartment, so it is a standard procedure to ask for a damage deposit, and it has nothing to do with the length of the stay, nor with the guests. The deposit is indicated on the website and on our arrival information. Kindest regards Management

Bailen Apt. in need of comfortable beds and furniture. Linens were sparce and somewhat stained and old. Lock on door had to be repaired; keys difficult to use. Showers leak onto floor. However, our host did his best with whaat he had to work with. Located on very busy street with traffic and pedestrian noise.

Dear Kristy, Thank you for your comment. Beds and sofa beds are standard IKEA, and generally considered comfortable enough by most guests. We have changed the cleaning company and material. As for the street, Bailen is relatively quiet, and standard for Barcelona... of course, if you live in a quiet residential city, you must not be used to this... Regards
