Barceló Hotel Sants has direct access to AVE (high-speed train), the metro station, and train system, with connection to Barcelona International Airport (BCN).
The Barceló Hotel Sants provides extensive facilities for conferences, conventions, banquets and weddings. All 21 fully equipped conference rooms, with a capacity of up to 1,500 people, have a dedicated reception area where food can be served and cocktails prepared. The Cyber Corner on the lobby level has five computers all offering high-speed Internet access (fee) as well as printing photocopying and faxing facilities. There is also the option of video conferencing.
The hotel's own fitness center features a sauna and solarium, as well as a wide selection of weight machines and a varied timetable of fitness classes. A range of shops in the station below are easily accessed directly from the hotel by elevator.
Rooms
All non-smoking guestrooms at Barceló Hotel Sants, Barcelona offer panoramic views of the surrounding mountains or city, complimentary wireless Internet access, and 42-inch TVs with satellite service. Additional features include iPod/iPhone docks and coffee and tea making facilities. Bathrooms feature hairdryers and full-sized tubs. In-room safes also are available for a surcharge.
Orbital Rooms were renovated in 2011 with futuristic furnishings and "hatches" that guests can imagine are windows onto other worlds.

Dining
El Bistrot de Sants - Offers fine dining from an à la carte menu featuring Mediterranean cuisine with a strong Catalan influence. Lunch and dinner are served with menu options that might include smoked vegetables with slivers of cured ham, fresh baked cod with sweet tomatoes and anchovy oil and the chef's traditional crème Catalan. The restaurant seats 60 and is traditionally furnished. It has wide views of the nearby municipal park and of Montjuic.
La Cantina L'Estacio - Buffet style breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all served at this informal restaurant that seats up to 200. The wide variety of very high quality food offered includes traditional tapas, salads, grilled meat and fish, and plenty of fresh fruit and deserts.
Room service is available during limited hours.
Recreation
The hotel's fully equipped and staffed fitness center has free weights, running, step and rowing machines, as well as static bikes, and stretching mats. The center also offers a comprehensive timetable of fitness classes and has a sauna and solarium.

“best hotel in barcelona”
We have stayed five nights at Hotel Sants during our visit to Barcelona. The rooms are renovated, vey clean and modern. The hotel has an orbital concept with most of the utilities have white colors and lights. We liked the location of the hotel since it is on a metro hub and very convenient to reach any location in the city. We strongly recommend this hotel...
“I will stay here everytime I'm in Barcelona”
This hotel was AWESOME! It was very easy to get around town because the train and metro station are below the hotel. The bed and sheets were incredibly comfortable and the hotel was decorated in the contemporary style which I love. The shower was the best part of all with a huge rain showerhead and great water pressure. All toiletries were supplied. I had no problems connecting to Wifi and there was even an alarm clock with an iphone/ipod adapter. I don't think I would stay anywhere else!!
“Good 4-star hotel in Barcelona”
The hotel's staff was very helpful, capable in English, and the room was quiet. The "space-agey" motif was a little odd, but the room was comfortable. The hotel is located on top of one of the Metro and train station intersections--Sants station in Barcelona, and thus I was a bit worried about station noise. I was on the top/7th floor of the hotel, and it was quiet. There are tons of taxis ready day and night, but the advantage of having the train to and from the airport and metro in the same location can't be beat. The poor signage for the hotel inside the station and the tiny elevators to the hotel's main desk are minor irritations. Barcelona is a delightful city, and I cannot wait to make a return visit.

The hotel was perfectly located for getting around the city and to/from the airport. The room was clean and modern, well-equipped, and large enough for my needs. Would recommend the hotel to the budget conscious traveler.
“Location”
Good: Location, breakfast, clean rooms, and overall service Missing: wireless internet (only wired internet in my room worked for me), internet connection does not support VPN, HDMI support for LCD TV (which is large-area flat-panel TV, but it is impossible to use it with a computer as an extra screen to read, watch, or play). Very good overall!
“Barcelo Sants - a space odessey!”
The reception area and the restaurants are traditionally decorated, but the hotel floors are decorated in a 2001-A Space Odessey fashion. Black floors, ceilings, and walls predominate, with white wall accents and lots of wood paneling (including laminate floors). Room 441 was well-kept during my stay. BEWARE: in the regular Orbit rooms, there is very little storage - OK for solo or 2 who travel light. BEWARE: The new trend I'm seeing in European hotels is that there is little privacy between the bath/toilet (shower/WC) and the rest of the room - often just a little partial partition. BEWARE: the in-room safe may not be fastened down - you can use the reception's safety deposit boxes at no charge. The black-out curtains worked 100%. The HD-type panel TV offered a treat - under options, you could often select the spoken language (Spanish, Catalan, or "V.O.", which meant original language - English most often. For my 4-day stay, I purchased a T10 public transport pass from the easy-to-use kiosk and used it on buses and metro lines - at 8.50 EUR for 10 trips, it was a heck of a deal. I also enjoyed the excellent CitySightseeing hopon-hopoff bus. The trip to Monserrat was a delight - check the websit for details on what's going on when you plan to be there.
“Amazing Rooms Theme”
Though at first and while proceeding to the hotel lobby via train station connection I was rather worried as elevators appeared a bit old as did the lobby, both the room and available services made up for that. The orbital room (recently renovated according to expedia site) was top notch and apparently designed to the last bit of detail (bed trays attached to the wall, hidden lighting, designer chairs). Room cleanliness won't be an issue here, as I have no complaint on that either. Last but not least, hotel location was very convenient as it was next to the metro station and facilitated all transportation to the city and airport. So as a whole, I completely recommend this hotel to any visitor!
“New Rooms Fantastic - Ease of Access to Ave”
The new rooms are great, they are comfortable, with soundproof - lightproof windows. Its easy to get into and out of the hotel, there are always taxis around.
