My stay in BarcelonaPosted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: A modern and well kept hotel, the view from the rooftop is amazing. Although the pool is small it is adequate to cool off.
Cons: Air conditioning was barely adequate.
Location: Close to the main shopping and restaurant areas, only a 5 minute walk
Loved Barcelona... fantastic city. Bought a Barcelona travel card before travelling- collected it in Barcelona although it was quite difficult to find collection point ( information centre in Catalunya), but still recommend it. Best way to see the city is to go around on the tour bus, you can get off and on as many times as you like. If you are planning to visit the Sagrada Familia - book it on line!!! but well worth the visit - stunning! Although food prices are reasonable on La Ramblas street restaurants be wary when ordering drinks as they can be very pricey. Will definitely visit this city again.

Great hotel and great locationPosted Jul 13, 2014
Great hotel! There's lots of wonderful restaurants along the street, it is very close to La Rambla, and close to the metro. Most attractions were within walking distance, and the Barceloneta beach was only about a 20 min walk. The area could be a little rough-looking at night, and as a couple in our mid-20s, we were offered drugs a few times and it was not uncommon to see prostitutes walking around a few streets down. The rooms don't leave you with a lot of privacy, as it had a clear-glassed shower and a sliding door hiding the toilet, but we were okay with it. Besides that, everything about the hotel was great - the staff, the rooms, the B-Lounge (restaurant), and gorgeous terrace. I would highly recommend this hotel to a friend!

Great central location.Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: I loved the funkiness, my husband thought it was too dark especially in lobby area.
Cons: Staff could be more service orientated.
Location: Location was easy walking distance to la ramblas and waterfront restaurant.
Great position, handy to everything. The bathroom was very small . The views from the rooftop were sensational, the pool is a plunge pool only.

Barcelo Ravel BarcelonaPosted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Everything was first class.
Cons: Couldnt fault it. Some colourful characters around late at night but no more than you get in any big city.
Location: Lots of restaurant and Tapas venues, great cocktail bars, access to all other Barcelona areas via Metro 5 min walk from hotel or bus.
Had a fantastic 5 day break at this modern hotel. Excellent location, 3 min walk to Las Rambles and many bars and restaurants. Great little bars in the square directly in the square where the hotel is situated. 5 minute walk to the avenue parrallel and then a 10 min bus ride (the D20, 2 Euros each) to the beach by the Olypmic Harbour, better sunbeds and access to a lively set of beachside bars. Everything you could want in a hotel, very comfortable beds, crisp clean sheets, fridge in room and the 360 cocktail bar on the roof is certainly one for the memory especially at sunset! Will be my first port of call next time I visit Barcelona. The staff were excellent and could not do more to help you at all times. Free Wifi too throughout hotel. Staying here you have access to all the old world that Barcelona offers twinned with all the modern comforts of a great hotel. Look forward to returning shortly.

Trendy hotel, great staffPosted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Trendy decor, staff
Cons: If I had to grumble, I'd move the hotel a little more north. It was a good 35 minute walk to the most crowded beach
