“Lovely Hotel-impressed”

This hotel was a great base for seeing the sights of Barcelona. A 10-15 minute walk and we were in the centre of everything. The reception staff were very cheery and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

“Fabulous Hotel”

We had an absolutely amazing time at this hotel. There are 2 jacuzzi's on the roof which were so nice to use after a very hot day of sightseeing. Could easily be a five star hotel. The rooms were very clean comfortable and the air-con worked a treat. It was a bit of a walk to Las Ramblas (about 15 to 20 minutes) but there is a Metro station 3 minutes away. Overall we were extremely satisfied and would definitely recommend.

Could not fault the hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. The jacuzzis on the roof terrace were fantastic if not a little cold. A great way to relax after a long day walking round the city. The only thing I would complain about is that we had 3 power cuts over the 3 days that we were there. Power was not off for more than 20 minutes but was a bit inconvenient when you're trying to get ready to go out and the room is complete darkness.

“Wicked time had by all!”

4 of us went from work for a a bit of a fun weekend. The hotel was very cool and the big balcony we had enabled us to party on until 4am! Party on down Connect 2 Cleanrooms!

“Very impresses”

I arrived in Barcelona on a friday morning but didn't get to check-in until the evening and I certainly wasn't disappointed. As soon as I entered I noticed the boutique feel of the place. A lot of thought must've gone into the decor. My room was spotless. The TV screen had a message displayed on it welcoming me to the hotel. (I thought that was a nice touch!) The bed was quite hard but still comfortable. Besides that's good for your back. On the morning of my departure, a bell boy woke me up saying he had come to collect my luggage. I suppose because they knew the time of my flight they had worked out that I would want to leave the hotel at that particular time. But I didn't. I would definitely recommend the place if you're willing to spend a bit extra.

“Great hotel, excellent location”

The Hotel Barcelona Center was excellent. The staff is terrific and responsive. All in all, a great choice with very comfortable rooms.

“Barcelona Center Hotel - an excellent choice”

This hotel, although a short walk from Las Ramblas is in an excellent location. Away from the crowds yet withing walking distance of the Sagrada Familia and Las Ramblas. The room was an excellent size and very clean. The staff were great. Decorated beautifully, simple yet elegant. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone (unless you want to spend your time solely on the beach and then location may not be ideal).

Great service and beautiful hotel - nicest 4 star I stayed at during my 2 weeks travels through europe. only drawback, 10 min walk to beginning of the ramblas, then another 15 to beach, but that part is a nice walk through the tourist zone

“Reliable Hotel”

Although stated to be close to La Rambla it is a steady walk and a taxi is recommended.(Max 5 Euros). Best way to get to hotel from airport is using Airport Shuttle Bus which goes directly to Plaza Cataluyana and then take a taxi to hotel. Fare 4 Euro pp + taxi say 5 Euro. Taxi from airport = 50 Euro. Travel is just as quick as regular taxi. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful and limited but satisfactory room service for evening meal is available.Overall very happy with our stay.

“Beautiful area, lovely hotel and central location”

The hotel is in a fairly upmarket location, close to designer boutiques and a variety of nice restaurants that are within walking distance to major attractions such as Casa Pedera and Casa Batillo and the main shopping street, Passeig de Gracia. The only downside was the fact that the room was very dark as our window faced a walled compound which did not catch any sunlight so we had to turn on all the lights during the day. The plus-side was that it was extremely quiet (if you discount the faint rumblings of the understand which is not really a problem unless you are a very light sleeper). That was not really a huge downside as the hotel met all our expectations - was very clean, spacious, quiet, well-furnished and in an excellent and lovely location with lots of good restaurants all within walking distance. The front desk staff all spoke English. We felt very safe walking around at night even when there weren't a lot of people around (unlike El Ravel which is a pretty dodgy at night). We also had a late flight but the hotel staff were happy to store our luggage for us all day and we picked them up around 6pm. Would definitely stay here again and recommend for those who want to be centrally located in a nice hotel and away from the hustle and bustle of La Ramblas.
