Beautiful clean hotelPosted Sep 16, 2013
Such a lovely stay. Like a cool oasis out of the heat of Barcelona. Pretty, clean room, beautiful bathroom. Breakfast each morning was excellent and more than enough, and it was supplied on a gorgeous patio. Close to the centre of town, a few minute's walk from a number of nice bars and restaurants, and just far enough out of the tourist strip to be peaceful. Would recommend 100%.

Hard to find but worth itPosted Jul 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room and accommodations were very nice. The price was affordable. And the location was perfect, walking distance from what we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again.

Modern GuesthousePosted Oct 30, 2012
Pros: The size and cleanliness of the room as well as the wonderful private balcony to which we all had access
Cons: The walls were a bit thin.
We enjoyed our stay at the Blanc Guesthouse. It was easy to find once we were in the city and very conveniently located for our excursions in the city. The service is exceptional, the rooms are very clean, and the breakfasts are a great start to the morning. Our room had two single beds -- a mix-up in the booking, but we were able to push them together quite easly -- and a sink. We had to share toilet and shower facilities with the room next door but found it clean and mostly unoccupied when we needed it. Even though our window overlooked the street, we couldn't hear street noises. The walls are a bit thin and you can hear the boilers working when other guests are using the shower.

Cute, quiet urban B&BPosted Oct 30, 2012
Blanc Guesthouse was a cute urban B&B. (Or like the nicest hostel in the world.) We stayed there for 3 nights and were pleased with the cleanliness and comfort, as well as the amenities (free breakfast & internet) and friendly staff. The decor was modern but comfortable (lots of things from IKEA, including a lamp we also own!), and sharing a bathroom with one other room was no problem. The only downsides, I would say, were that when we came in late (11-ish) we felt the need to whisper, in case we disturbed other guests, and that the nearest Metro stop (Diagonal) was a 10-15 min walk, depending on if you were lugging suitcases or going for a leisurely stroll or what. (But then again, all of Barcelona's Metro stops seem farther apart than Madrid's, so... yeah.) On the other hand, there's quite a bit of nice shopping nearby, and good eating, and Gaudi's Casa Mila (La Pedrera) and Casa Battlo are relatively close too. We even walked to Sagrada Familia (once; we Metro-ed it the second time). All in all, we were satisfied with our stay at Blanc Guesthouse and would definitely consider staying there again if/when we return to Barcelona.
