“Definitely go back”

I really like the condition of the rooms and especially its cleanliness. The hotel is a little far of main atractions but it is 15 minutes walking to metro station and using the metro is easy and cheap.

“Best on our trip”

We spent 13 days in Spain and this was the best of all. The accommodation was great, friendly staff. It's clean and very quiet only 10 minutes to Barajas International Airport. For first timer, it would be hard to find as it is not accessible via public transportation; i.e. bus, subway. We got lost (easy to do in Spain winding road) and ended up hailing a taxi. Hotel has free shuttle service every half hour between hotel and airport. The best way to town is to ride shuttle bus to the airport where you can catch subway from terminal 2 and reverse coming back to the hotel. Shuttle will pick you up at hotel shuttle bus stop in front of arrival in terminal 2. Next time, it will be a piece of cake. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone. You will not be disappointed. Price is good too!

“Would love to go back”

The hotel was lovely, very clean and pleasant. Jordi at the front desk was the friendliest and most helpful person, there wasn't a question he couldn't answer about the area and how to get to places. The hotel is situated in an affluent residential area and is safe to walk about at any time of day. Breakfast was good. Would love to go back when in Barcelona.

“Bang for your buck”

This modest hotel in Barcelona, Spain is a must stay for the non-snooty traveler. Rooms are basic and small, but location is in a great, safe neighborhood, hotel is exceptionally clean, and the breakfeast buffet is exceptional (nothing like being woken up at 7am by the delightful smell of baking croissants).

“Good place for Barcelona tourists”

We arrived this hotel in late evening with Aerobus and Metro from International Airport. We needed to walk about 10 min. from nearest Metro station, and there was constant up hill to the hotel. The hotel is on the street, and can be found easily. There is a bus stop in front of Hotel, however, the road is one way street. So, it is easy to use when going into city, but not so when coming back. General condition was satisfactory, and I would stay here again.

“Good Hotel for the price”

Great Hotel. Just a ten minute walk from the metro. Note that this hotel is located in a residential area, so if you want to do your laundry...you would have to go to the city center to find a laundromat. Other than that the location was perfect because we were so close to the Camp Nou which is the stadium of F.C. Barcelona. The staff was quite helpful when we asked them about attractions and sightseeing.

“I would stay here again anytime.”

The price is good for the city of Barcelona. Located four blocks down slope from the metro station that takes you into Barrio Alto old section of town. The staff is endearing and the room was small but clean. They did not mind me late arrival of 11pm the first night. The breakfast was adequate and included in the rates. I would stay here again for the price, convenience, and friendliness of the staff.

“The Hotel”

The hotel is situated in a residential area of NW Barcelona. There is a Metro stop (Maria Cristina) only 5 - 10 minutes walk away which proved to be extremely convenient. Although the hotel offers a reasonably good breakfast, there is no lunch or evening meal service available. There are a few cafes and restaurants near to the hotel (in fact there is a small square where some of the local residents gather and dine throughout the evening - great tapas). The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, many of them speaking English to a reasonably good standard. This budget hotel is ideal if you are prepared to use the Metro as a form of transport into / out of the main city. There are also a couple of supermarkets very close to the hotel which proved to be very useful.
