Exceptional Service

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: The hotel was close enough to the Gothic Quarter and major sights but far enough away from the hustle and bustle.
Location: There are plenty of excellent restaurants close to the hotel, easily within walking distance as well as Gaudi's La Pedrera and Casa Batllo.
My husband and I recently spent 6 nights (July 15-21) at Casa Fuster. The staff were exceptional ensuring all our needs were met. Any issues with our room were dealt with immediately, something we have not experienced before in any high end hotels we have stayed at in the past. The concierges provided great suggestions of restaurants as well as sights, combinations of dinner and theatre that were culturally stimulating and authentic to the Catalan region. We stayed in the junior suite which was extremely comfortable giving us plenty of space and separate areas for planning our days, eating snacks etc.

Really wonderful hotel!

We had an amazing time at this hotel. They staff was above and beyond. We even walked in on the cleaning gal and she was in the tub scrubbing the shower! Very impressive! The roof top bar is a must and we felt like we were friends with them, rather than just guest. Alessandra and Patricia were THE BEST! A must stay : )

Excellent lcation combined with great staff

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: The grand old lady is stylish as ever. The jazz night on Thursdyas is great. The wifi system was greatly improved since our last stay in December.
We come back to cas Fuster again and again. We really of course, like the location, but always are very pleased with the very helpfull and pleasqnt staff. Thi stay we had an extra bed in our suite, which was supplied at no extra costs. The service in taking care of these extras, in terms of extra towels an such, was really good.

Great Location

Posted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: Internet
Cons: A/C needs to be a little cooler.
Location: Shopping and restaurants all close to hotel.
Arrived early morning from the USA and the room was ready upon our arrival, the staff was great and recommended many restaurants that were excellent. The location is great, you can walk to many attractions and shopping area is also walking distance Room was beautiful and large for European standards. The downstairs bar is excellent to have a drink. I highly recommend this 5 star hotel.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Cant think of anything. They had it all covered.
Location: Its right in the heart of Gracia and all kinds of transportation. Doesn't get better than this!
I absolutely loved this hotel and would stay there again and again. Location is just great and it is absolutely beautiful. The staff is sooo nice and accommodating. I recommend this 100 %. The special touches at night in your room and everything you need was available to me. Things you might forget and more....

Great Hotel Experience

Posted Apr 1, 2014
Great Location, great room dining, great staff. Only thing to be careful about is when checking in try to check in to a room with the street view, it changes the whole experience. I initially stayed at room 101 for two nights which had no view and was okay. Then moved to room 207 for 50 euro price difference, which had a street view and it changed the whole experience.

Nice hotel in upscale area

Posted Mar 24, 2014
2 persons sharing a standard room are very crowded. There is little space for toiletries ,etc. no place to put a suitcase. The hair dryer was in an awkward position for use. Also the food for breakfast was cold. All relatively minor things. The hotel is overall very lovely and the lobby staff were outstanding.

Great central location in a landmark building!

Pros: See above
Location: See above
Great central location in Barcelona in a landmark building walking distance close to famous Antoni Gaudi building like Casa Mila La Pedrera (5 min.), Casa Batllo (10 min), and Sagrada Familia (20 min.). Great Tapas and Spanish restaurants close by 5 to 10 min walk, and the Metro station just a 3 min. walk. Well appointed Hotel with great service to boot!!! I will be staying there again on my next trip to Barcelona.
