This hotel is a steal. For the price it is is. We had a beautiful balcony with view. The staff was lovely and breakfast excellent.

Staff were very helpful and nice. Breakfast great. Well positioned hotel in the area. Showers were hopeless wet the whole bathroom. Enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at the hotel in April for three nights. Check in was easy and straightforward. Once in our room, an employee delivered a bottle of cava which was a perk of Expedia gold status members. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is located on a large pedestrianized street, which our room overlooked, but remained quiet throughout the night. No problems sleeping. Breakfast was wonderful and had a large variety of cold and hot foods to choose from. Best part was the location. Easy walk to important sights. Only took taxi to Sagrada Familia and train station.

While the hotel was fine, it was the location that might make me return. The location is great for strolling around, catching a tour bus, catching the metro or the aerobus. Lots of shopping and dining options. The hotel was just fine. Pretty dull lobby, drab bar and slow elevator (only took it the once with bags up and once with bags down - walking up three floors was quicker). The room was big enough and bed comfy, but I hate when they don't put real doors on the bathrooms. It was a sliding glass door. There was no USB charger on one side of the bed. The bathroom lighting was brutal. Bathroom layout was challenging - not easy to get in and out of shower with toilet and sink area against it. Hotels in Barcelona are pricy, but at least this one had awesome access.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location for sightseeing. Breakfast buffet is large. We loved our private terrace too!

We have just returned from.a 4 day trip. The hotel is centrally located and walkable to all major sights. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. We had an upgrade to rooms with a lovely and spacious terrace. We asked for an early check in and we’re able to get in to one of our rooms early. The rooms were very clean. Good over bath shower. Our children made good use of the pool. Great hotel, great stay, we would definitely recommend

The hotel could not be more central. It is in need of refurbishment which I believe is happening now. The staff while always polite was spotty. Some could be extremely warm and helpful some not so much. I wouldn't let that hold you back on booking here. Breakfast was everything you need with lots of healthy options. This is a solid hotel.

At the center of Catalonia where everything happens!!! Amazing location, would highly recommend! Great Staff- Laura and Chodi were always very helpful. We left a jacket & was able to retrieve right away.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona and is close to Barcelona’s superb metro along with the stop for the Aerobús. The room we stayed in was nice and quiet and had air conditioning. Unfortunately the bathroom really smelt, I think there must be an issue with the drains as the hotel is in a very old building.

I stayed in the newest area of the property. The deck was wonderful and private. The hotel has an elevator and that helps! I enjoyed how close we were to main square, and others we easily walked to.

The hotel is not sound proof, do not think rooms are cleaned properly and balcony doors need to be replaced or rest9red as they are very difficult to open and close. Only good thing about the hotel is that the location is perfect.

We are hotels VIP members. Part of booking was room upgrade if available. Hotel would not upgrade us to next available room when 4 rooms available, but they were happy to charge us for upgrade.

Best Hotel in old quarter
This property was in the best location. We really enjoyed our stay. The restaurant ladies were the best, same as front desk and the porters…. They noticed My husband birthday and left us chocolate :) quite heart warming when we were by ourselves traveling! Definitely come back when in Barcelona! Five star all the way

The location is perfect!! Located directly on a shopping street and close to La Rambla and other attractions. Area is very walkable. The staff were very helpful, to get tickets, order taxi!! The hotel itself was very nice, floors on level 1 were getting renovated, but no problem. The room was quite spacious and we were able to check in early and get 2 twins (basically a king bed)!!!

The hotel with balcony is a good view to the street and boutiques. It is a very clean and climate controlled temperature. The dining are is excellent.
