Nice hotel off La RamblasPosted Jul 6, 2014
Great hotel just off La Ramblas. Location wise the hotel was perfect if you want to stay near La Rambla. The room we stayed in was a decent size and was clean. Also the staff at the hotel were very helpful and polite.

Stylish hotel close to La RamblaPosted Jun 21, 2014
Pros: Location is excellent. Really helpful staff, quirky design, very clean.
Cons: Shower room a little small, lack of shelving.
Location: Location is excellent, a few hundred yards from Drassanes Metro. La Rambla is round the corner and the Marina is just over the road.
The hotel is right next to the Drassanes Metro, still a bit tricky to find as it is situated in the middle of some small offices and shops. The initial impressions were excellent, the hotel has a stylish lobby and the desk staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The room was great with interesting decor. Very clean and bright. There was a safe and also a small kitchen area with a stove that we didn't use. Only downside was the very small shower room, which although perfectly adequate, would have benefited from a shelf nears the sink for toiletries a etc. Got a little bit noisy at night both from the street below and other guests returning to their rooms, however we accepted this given the location. All in all, would definitely recommend this hotel for a short city break. It's literally two minutes from La Rambla and also very close to the Marina.

Good hotel close to La RamblaPosted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: Very clean. Friendly staff. Air conditioning. Fridge. Safe. Twin beds.
Cons: Security - Ask for name when giving out room key. Drawer unit for clothes.
Location: Southern end of La Rambla. Seemingly unlimited choice of eateries, bars and clubs.
Just a couple of minutes from the Southern end of the Rambla but very quiet for all that. Very clean and comfortable although no drawers or shelves for clothes. Kitchenette has all you need but not in a separate room, more like a built in unit. It even has a safe. Didn't eat here but breakfast food looked good. Free wifi in all rooms. Shower gel supplied as well as complimentary bottles of water on arrival.

Hip, cool hotel for a good pricePosted May 28, 2014
Pros: Location, design, clean, helpful staff.
Cons: Bed comfort
Location: Architecture, beach, restaurants, museums
The hotel was perfect for us to see Spain. It was close to sights and transportation, the staff was helpful and the place was clean and quiet. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but everything else was good especially when you consider the price.

good location,near port,La Ramblas,metro,tourbusesPosted May 22, 2014
Cons: Supplying basic needs for travellers like other hotels, little more attractive and brighter front area and the rooms.
Location: Hop on &off buses, metro nearby. 5 min. walk to La Ramlas and the La Boqeria Market.10 min walk to Playa Catalunya for airport bus, shops&sightseeing.
Besides the good location, not much reason to come back. For the price, expect some basics like tissue, shampoo and some decent chairs to sit on for 3 people. Ana at the front desk is helpful and so is Francis. No inform. on sight seeing. I am sure I can find a nicer hotel for the price.

Great location, not all rooms are chic!Posted May 6, 2014
Hotel is located at the bottom of La Ramblas which is an ideal spot. Public areas are retro and cool and the good served looked lovely although we didn't get time to try it. However, we were disappointed with out room, the bathroom was nothing like the pictures but very tired and beige. The bed wasn't that comfy although it was a double and not two singles pushed together which meant no falling through a gap :) The kitchen was a good idea but the fridge smelled mouldy and we decided not to risk using it. For the money we could have found a nicer room but if you're lucky to get a modern one then it's a great place to stay.

Perfect place to stay in Las Ramblas!Posted Apr 30, 2014
This hotel was wonderful! The name says it all. It really is chic and basic. The cab driver had some issues finding it because it is in a corner. The hotel staff was very friendly and informative. The room was perfect for two people. It is small but that's expected in Europe. The bedding was all white and very clean. The bathroom was spotless. The room even had a small kitchenette which is very convenient. The location is perfect, especially if you're interested in culture and nightlife. Everything is conveniently located nearby. The "plaza" (i forget the actual name) is only minutes away walking. El borne is also very close. The hotel provides information on the hop on hop off bus tours, which I highly recommend. Overall great experience!

No Sleep for the WearyPosted Jan 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
I really wanted to like this hotel. It's adorable. The location is good. The staff is nice and friendly. But it was awful. Our room was right in front of the stairs, and we could hear everyone who came and went, as well as everything going on in the lobby. Our room had vinyl floors rather than carpet, so there was no muffling of any noise, either. The carpet that was covered in water stains, which we soon realized were because the open shower has so much pressure the water bounces off the half-wall and floor and under the bathroom door. The street wasn't busy, but you could hear every single person who came and went through the window. We booked a room with a kitchenette. I don't think the person who designed this room has any concept of how to cook a meal. We were provided with 2 plates, 2 forks, 2 knives, a very tiny sauce pan and lid, and 2 glasses. There are 2 burners, which are don't get hot enough to cook, a mini fridge, and a sink (no microwave or oven). There was also an electric kettle, but there isn't a plug near the kitchenette, so we had to put it on a nightstand to plug it in. The only trashcan in the room is in the bathroom, and it's tiny. This room was the largest we encountered in Europe, but it was all empty space. The desk was about 18x24 inches, maybe, and remember that this had to double as our dinner table. There was a "cute" ladder leaning against the wall that we hung some clothes on, and that was it. The room was a huge, dead, space.
