Central hotel close to all tourist sites!

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: Access to complimentary refrigerated, water bottles every day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Complimentary safe in our room.
Cons: The only unfortunate mishap is that the hotel has no iron, if you stay here, make sure to bring your own.
Location: Very easy to get to all the tourist sites. 10 minute walk to metro. Easy to access buses. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and shops.
It was very easy to get the bus or metro to the various tourist sites from this centrally located hotel. It only took us about 10 to 20 minutes to get to Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, the Beach, La Ramba, Montjuic, etc. The hotel staff were very accommodating in helping us to map out where we wanted to go each day and gave us great advice as to where to eat, etc. There was a 24 hour bakery and convenience store down the street which we accessed regularly. Hotel had wi-fi and access to computers and printers which was helpful when we needed to purchase tickets to sites (Sagrada Familia and Park Guell - book in advance to avoid line-ups and disappointments).

A good hotel with great staff

Posted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: The staff were very helpful and gave us some excellent advice about transportation, things to do and kept us well supplied with maps
Cons: It's a shame it's not on the metro, however the buses were very good and we walked a great deal - which we enjoy
Location: Good restaurants and bars were close by and we walked to La Familia de Sagradia (sorry about spelling) which didn't take long at all.
We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and we found it to be very centrally located, with very helpful and friendly staff.

Clean modern hotel in a nice area.

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: The room was good and very reasonably priced.
Cons: There is no bar area and no mini bar in the room.
Location: It is to the north of the centre. 10min walk to the metro and 5 min to the nearest tourist bus pick up point. Plenty of shops and restaurants near by.
The room was clean and modern. Nice bathroom with bath and shower. Air con was very good and needed after a hot day walking. A 10min walk to the nearest metro or 5 euros in a taxi to get to the center. There was a night club opposite but I couldn't hear any noise.

convenient, , clean and quiet

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: It is a good hotel with a reasonable price.
Cons: The bed is hard, and the room is too dark.
It is very close to the attractions, within walking distance (about half an hour tho). It is also convenient to find a nice restaurant. The mattress is hard, not that comfortable.

Good location

Posted Jul 16, 2014
We stayed at this total for 3 nights and thought the location was in an ideal location- it was around a 20-25 min walk to Sagrada Familia and the nearest metro station (Diagnonal) was around a 10 min walk with many major lines running through. Lots of trendy cafes and bars around, a beautiful traditional Catalan restaurant was only a 5 walk (Casa Jordi - highly recommended!). Room was very nice and clean, lobby was also very nice. Free wifi in room which was a bonus.

Great value for money and good location

Posted Jul 10, 2014
We found this hotel on Tripadvisor having never been to Barcelona we wanted something that was fairly central but not in the heart of the atmosphere/buzz. The hotel staff were fantastic very pleasant and accommodating nothing was too much trouble. We had lost our keys for the padlock to our luggage and they cut of the padlock for us and we left out bags at the hotel on check out day. They offered recommendations of places to eat and local transport routes. The rooms were spacious and clean we were only in the hotel for 2 days. I would nt want to stay any more than 3-4 as it would become quite claustrophobic. Very pleasant experience and I would return

Really good hotel, great for a city break.

Posted Jun 27, 2014
Really good hotel, great for a city break. Surprisingly central. 2 miles to the very centre of the city, less than 2 miles to sagrada familia. Metro (Fontana) is around a 10-15 walk. Room was very clean. Very quiet room, but we were in the middle of the building.

Nice hotel, but quite far from the centre.

Good not great hotel. 3* after all. Close to a supermarket, bars etc. Closest tube station is 10mins away. You can walk to La Rambla in 20mins
