“A nice place to stay”
We really enjoyed the hotel. It was centrally located to Estacion Nord, where our bus dropped us off, then about a 10 min walk to La Rambla. The hotel is very modern, and the free mini bar that included 2 beers, 1 Coke, 1 diet Coke, 2 juices, 2 fizzy waters, was a nice perk. Then there was regular bottled water and free bottled water in the upstairs lounge. The mini bar was restocked as well. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and took time explaining the best ways to get around the city.
“Extremely worth the price.”
The hotel is of great value! I stayed there for three nights in a double room with two twin beds paying only 25 € per night/per person. The people in the lobby were very nice and the rooms were extremely nice kept and very comfortable. It included internet service 24 hours/day and the receptionists were so kind to print several papers I needed in the lobby with no cost at all. I am currently a Mexican student living in France and wanted to spend a few days on vacations in Barcelona for a cheap stay. We considered hostels but took this hotel because the price was almost the same. It was the best decision ever, i would defenetly book it again. I hope they open more hotels of the chain in other countries apart from Spain! I would give it a 10/10.
“Great place to stay! Great Location!”
I went to Barcelona for a really short stay - 2 days and I think I picked the right hotel. It was central, walkable to almost all places -- at least we walked everywhere. The concierge are extremely helpful and patient with us. Answered all our questions about best restaurants/cafes/pasterias that the locals go to or atleast the places they went to. The breakfast spread is pretty good too, There is this little cafe across the road which is nice. The hotel is less than 5 mins walk to Arc de Triomf. I am going back to Barcelona and I am coming back to this hotel...
“Very good experience”
The hotel was very clean, very comfortable. I liked the fact that the mini bar was complimentary, and it was refilled each day. The location was very convenient to all of the areas of Barcelona that we visited--either by walking, or the nearby metro station. I would definitely stay here again.
“Great hotel”
Clean and modern. Would stay again. A bit far from the Ramblas area by foot but the hotel was nice and the price was relatively low.
“A Great Hotel in a great location!”
We stayed here for 4 days and could not have been more pleased with this hotel (especially compared to the other hotels where we stayed.) The room is clean and comfortable (with a free minibar!) Two issues; the staff (although nice...) is not that helpful. Phone messages were given to us 2 days late and a wake up call was never received. However, the convenience and comfort somewhat made up for the staff.
“Two metro stations from Catalunia Rambla. 20 minuts by foot. Bufet breakfirst.”
No complains
“Very comfortable hotel. Good location.”
The Confortel was extremely clean. The desk personnel spoke English very well. The Hotel was very basic -- no kleenex, extra soap, etc. but it was fine. It was located close to a metro stop so you could get to Plaza Cataluyna quite easily.
“Perfect for us”
Modern hotel with helpful staff. The desk staff spoke perfect English. Room was small but well appointed and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood at night. Located within 30 minutes walk of Plaza Cataluyna/Las Ramblas or a few steps to the bus route a 10 minute ride. When we return to Barcelona - and we will - we'll stay at Confortel Auditori again.
“Great place to stay”
We stayed at the Confortel Auditori in Barcelona in March 2008 and had a really nice stay. The best bits about the hotel... clean, modern, well equipped bedrooms (including free mini bar, flat screen TV), free internet access on 2 PC's downstairs, the bathrooms are a good standard with really good power showers and we got really good service from the receptionists. I can't comment on breakfast as we didn't eat at the hotel because we thought that the price was expensive but I think we would have tried the lunchtime offer if we had been near the hotel at that time of day. My partner and I are happy to walk places on city breaks and we found the location of the hotel fine for that. In a day we walked as far as the Aquarium and back stopping at more sights along the way. In an ideal world we would probably have like there to have been a few more bars and restaurants in the immediate vacinity of the hotel, but we did find it useful having the supermarket and a nice Italian restaurant just round the corner. We stayed for 6 nights and didn't get bored once, there are lots of things to keep you busy in Barcelona, I'd like to go back one day.
