“one of the best hotels ive stayed in...but badly located”

i cannot speak highly enough of the hotel....clean, good staff and free internet....however the location is not the best and taxi rides or metro journeys are a regular occurance...if the hotel was better located it would be perfect but overall a fantastic hotel, but not a great location

“Good alternative for short term stays”

The hotel has undergone recent upgrades and provide comfortable facilities. The walk to Metro is approximately 15 minutes and the area is not the best. Currently lots of road construction that causes detours. I find it disappointing that this class of facility doesn't provide complimentary coffee kettle and mugs in the rooms.

“Comfortel Barcelona”

The rooms were extremely bare. Minimalist to say the least with uncomfortable beds and 2 very contemporary "uncomfortable" chairs. The bathromm was great though the shower door leaked no matter what position it was in. The service staff was polite but undependable. I called for a wake up call each morning (no alarm clock in room) and did not recieve a wake up call. When I checked at the desk I wasn't " on the list". Its location is fine. Near the beach and easy access to the center of town (Catalyna plaza). Might possibly recommend to friends and family but have other recomendations for accomodations since being there.
