I liked that were close literally on everything which made it easier for us to go everywhere. We had a balcony and near a supermarket(small shop) thats next to the hotel but i wish a small kettle wouldn’t hurt to add on. The things i didn’t enjoy about our hotel was, it said it included the breakfast but there wasn’t any and the whole thing was so confusing because of the lack of information and there was nobody there to help us with everything. PLUS the extra fees we paid for when he got there which we though it was unnecessary.

I was very unhappy with reception and reservation organization. I arrived at the hotel/hostel in the late evening and was unable to enter. No one from the hotel contacted me upon booking with special instructions or a reservation #. I am currently requesting a refund. Even locating my room the second night was rough because I was not given a room # and had to locate it myself.

Very good location - its a one minute walk from from Gracia Metro station. There are cafes just over the road on the way to the metro where it's nice to have Breakfast, also a little supermarket, some cute shops and an ice cream parlor. Lots of bars in the Gracia area and restaurants too. The hostel was absolutley fine, no complaints as such. However - the check in tim is 1PM. We arrived at 2.30PM and our room wasn't actually ready as it was still being cleaned, we waited for about 15 minutes. This would have been very annoying if we had actually turned up at 1PM, with nowhere to leave our stuff. Also, the reception desk isn't manned throughout the day, even when we checked in at 2.30PM there was no one to help us in. I had to call the number on the door and speak to a man (who knows english luckily) and he gave us a code for the door to open it. The last four digits of your reservation number should be the door code but we booked on expedia so we didn't have that type of code. This wasn't too much of an issue as we checked in ok using the machine. The bathroom is small and beware, the shower curtain needs to be folded under so it doesn't flood the bathroom. It includes a bottle of shower gel/shampoo, so bring toiletries. Keep an eye out when you first arrive at this hostel, we we walked around for 5 minutes unable to find it, it has no sign sticking out and it just a normal door with a cage thing over it and a sign above. But it is where google maps says it is!!

While the hostel was clean, it was very small and the subway was far to walk to. Staff was never really around for recommendations on the area. The experience overall was okay but would not stay here again.

Good value for money
We stayed as a couple and were attending a festival during our stay. I don't think we saw one member of staff throughout our stay, but they were efficient in their communication through email if we needed to know anything. Our room was spacious, offered us everything that we needed and the location was great! The only downfall we had was not having access to an iron! Other than that, no complaints!

Good location and clean room
Great experience at Dingdong. The hostel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Great location to get to all the main shopping areas and attractions in the city. Close to metro and buses available are a plenty.

Cold room!
FREEZING. I have been talk to reception with two times and they said ''ok, we will increase the room heat'' and nothing is changed! Other day ı want two additional blankets and i slept with FOUR blanket. They have a small air ventitation in room. It is not enough. Do not come here if you live in Alaska. Other things are good for this price.

Kamer ziet er verzorgd uit. We waren er 2 nachten en iedere dag schone handdoeken en opgemaakt bed. Conciërge was erg behulpzaam bij inchecken.

14時に到着しましたがフロントに誰も居なかった為、チェックインに一苦労しました。同様にデンマークからのお客さんも部屋番号が分からないと途方に暮れておられました。 部屋自体は小さいがまぁ小綺麗です。しかし、必要最低限の設備しか無いのでご注意ください。

Hôtel sale personne à la réception on nous dit chambre dispo à partir de 13 h mais nous avons dû attendre que les femmes de chambre arrivent pour la nettoyer très rapidement grosse touffes de cheveux dans la sale de bain par terre dans l'évier dans la douche hôtel vraiment sale degueulasse nous sommes restés 2 nuits mais il n'y avait aucun personnel sur place donc pas de réclamation possible. Chambre mal isolée on entendait tout ce qui se passait dans la rue et dans la chambre à côté. Je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel c'était un séjour horrible

Idéalement situé !!
L'hôtel est vraiment bien placé et facile à trouver. Il n'y a pas de services tels que petits déjeunes ou autres, mais en face il y a deux cafés très sympas ! Petits déjeune complet pour 8€ ! Cet hôtel n'est pas le plus luxueux mais est très agréable pour découvrir Barcelone. Nous avons passé une super semaine.

Wir hatten für eine Woche ein kleines Zimmer mit eigenem Bad gebucht. Dies genügte uns auch, da wir da nur geschlafen und geduscht hatten. Sehr gute Café's gab es genügend in unmittelbarer Nähe. Genauso erreichte man die Metro in alle Richtungen in ein paar Gehminuten. Auch kleine Märkte (50 +150 Meter) gibt es in der Nähe. Wenn man aber erst abends anreist, sollte man dies dem Hostel-Team mitteilen und eine Telefon-Nr. vom Hostel zur Hand haben! Denn man benötigt einen Code für den Einlass ins Hostel und die Rezeption ist nicht den ganzen Tag besetzt! Meine Bitte (im voraus per Mail) für ein zusätzliches Kissen wurde auch erfüllt. Wir waren zufrieden!... man muss bedenken, dass dies ein Hostel und kein Hotel ist! Für diesen Preis für uns vollkommen ok!

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gut, die Lage perfekt und das Zimmer - mit eigenem Bad - sehr sauber. Beim Zutritt zur Unterkunft hatten wir Probleme mit dem Zugangscode, wir sind spät Abends angereist.

Super Preis/Leistung!
Hostel hat eine super Lage - 10 Min zu Fuß bis zur Metro. Hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad, das Zimmer war etwas eng aber es reichte für ein paar Tage vollkommen aus. Würden jedenfalls wiederkommen!

Bom!!
Escolhemos um quarto com banheiro privativo. A recepção não tem horários fixo, isso complica um pouco para o check in. O prédio é bem novo até, elevador pequeno mas muito bom. Quarto com tamanho bom, banheiro bem limpo. O único problema foi o cheiro de cigarro, deixamos as janelas abertas para sair, passou! Indico!

Добрый день,мы приехали в хостел DingDong Express в Барселоне 30.12.2016.В течении часа не могли войти внутрь,около 19-30 вечера.Когда нас пустил один из проживающих там,на ресепшене,в этой комнатке не было никого,на телефон не отвечали.Мы просидели около часа и вынуждены были забронировать другой отель,не спать же на улице!мы потеряли деньги.Бронь была на двое суток,как можно вернуть за одну ночь .Почему не позвонили, был указан телефон для связиМы вынуждены были забронировать отель на одну ночь,все чеки есть в наличии.В Хостел заселились 31.12 в 13 ч по местному времени.На телефон никто не отвечал.Рано утром 31.12 проживающие в хостеле помогли  нам дозвониться до управляющего.И только в 13 ч нам смогли предоставить номер.Был потерян весь день,переезды с чемоданами и нервы!
