“Overall, good.”

The best thing about this hotel is the location, just off the Ramblas and a short walk to the Boqueria Market. There is a good bakery across the road, a small supermarket a few doors away and a large Carrefour around the corner on the Ramblas. It is a perfect base to explore Barcelona. There is no service really, as others have stated. There is nowhere in the building to store baggage upon leaving and checkout is 11am. The office where you can leave the bags for a 10euro charge (not in the publicity) is about 20mins walk or a 7euro, 50 taxi ride away. The apartment was fine for 2 adults and 2 children. It is modern and was pretty clean. The facilities are on the minimal side - no hairdryer, 5 hangers, 2 dishwasher tablets for a 3 day stay, exactly 4 cups, plates etc. As many have said the bathroom is small and the shower curtain is flimsy, so there is the smell of stale water. The people above us came home late every night and we could hear every footstep. Overall, we would recommend it for a few days' stay and would come again.

“hard to check in”

Be ready to be stucked at the door. All the guests we saw could not chek in with the instructions that were given. Each time an existing guest needs to help ( if any), and call them. They also cancelled the code of the entrance 24h before our check out... I was lucky I kept the extra key wth me... the office is 20mns away from the appartment, so if anything goes wrong... good luck. Apart from this, the appartment was clean , big, and very conveniently located.
