“Would stay there again!”

Hotel was lovely and clean and well situated. The only thing that i think would have improved our stay, would have been tea/coffee making facilities in the room, as they were not available, and the only way to access a cuppa was downstairs in the restaurant! However,staff were very helpful and polite and overall it was a very nice hotel, although a bit clinical! The hotel is about ten minutes walk to the metro to your left as you exit. The tram that passes outside the hotel will take almost to the beachfront exit right out of hotel!! Very accessible place to stay.

“Hotel Amrey at Barcelona, Spain”

For the price we paid for this hotel is a very good deal specially at Europe prices. Very well located and several transportation options are very close to it. You can find restaurants and everyday shopping very close. Personnel is professional and helpful. Quiet and safe area at night.

I manage 5 hotels in the us and I was very impressed by the service and quality of this hotel. I would definately recomend this hotel to the business traveler or if someone is looking for a hotel away from all the tourists. Very easy access to the center of town.

“A really nice inexpensive hotel”

The hotel was clean in a quiet street in a corner with the Diagonal avenue, close to a tram stop, which can take you to the nearest metro stop, close to the Apgar Tower. The hotel staff was nice and friendly. One of the Ramblas that ends at the beach begins right in front of the hotel. The expedia rate does not include the continental breakfast, which costs 8 euros. I highly recommend it.

Position excellent-across road,get tram to next stop-glories metro station-4 stops you're in plaza catalunya,las ramblas,shops etc.Rooms immaculate,service good,reception staff not too keen to speak english,but got by-really good hotel-even though on avenguda diaganol, not noisy!

“Better than expected”

Some reviewers said this hotel was below their expectations so I was worried about what I might find. The only thing I can actually comment to the bad is that their AC does not create the Arctic Blast we Americans are used to getting in hotels. But this is merely the way they save on energy costs. I found the room to be very clean, very nice and the hotel staff willing to help at anytime asked. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone whose stay requires them to be in this side of town.

“Good value for money”

this hotel provides basic amenenties for a cheap city break, staff were not too friendly but on the whole the hotel was very comfortable would definatley go back.

“Ultra Modern”

Very modern Hotel I would recomend for anyone. It's about 2 or 3 blocks from Glories shopping mall and another 3 blocks to the Metro stop of the same name. Easy to get to the Gothic District and La Ramblas. Tram line runs by the hotel. There is a grocery store across the street. It's about a 12 euro cab ride from Sants Train Station

“Very good Hotel”

We just came back from barcelona. The persons at the front desk are very helpful with direction and information. The room is very clean and quiet. There are a couple of grocery stores and a nice shopping center around this hotel, which is very convenient for us for buying the fruits, etc. The location is Ok for us also. We are very happy to stay in this hotel and will recommend it to others.

“Very good for City Break”

This an excellent hotel for a city break. Located near metro and tram for freedom of movement around the wonderful city of Barcelona. The hotel is spotlessly clean, beds comfortable and rooms good size. This was our second visit to this hotel.
