Had fantastic time.

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Very close to metro and ideal for all city centre sights. Hotel was quiet at night bad our room was plenty big enough for 3.
Location: Was close to lovely restaurants and shops. Short enjoyable stroll to Place de Catelunya and Las Ramblas. Easy to get hop on hop off bus tour.
Hotel was fantastic. Restaurants close by with lovely food. Pool bar was great and enjoyed chilling out after sight seeing. Defo great to dip tired feet in cool water. Cocktails were fab sad hotel staff were very friendly and nothing was a problem.

Gallery Hotel, Barcelona

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Really fantastic stay, the hotel was in a lovely area and perfectly positioned to get around Barcelona. The room was well equipped, even providing toothbrushes and razors. The staff were really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I'd definately stay again.

Perfect location!

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Cons: The only thing I could find to improve would be the pool. It's really more of a long hot tub (only a few feet deep). Don't expect to swim laps!
We just came back from a fantastic stay in Barcelona, and the Gallery Hotel was a perfect base. It's right off the main shopping street, Passieg de Gracia, and within walking distance of almost all the major sights. The room was nice and clean, and the staff was helpful.

Great Location

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Location, room
Cons: Air conditioner, breakfast
Location: Very close to La Pedrera. The room is located between Passeig De Gracia and Rambla Catalunya, probably the 2 best streets in the city
Had to upgrade because they didn't have the room I had booked. The new room was good overall. Bathroom was ok, the tub was a little dirty on the floor. Air conditioner didn't work very well. We got up at around 2 pm because the room was too warm. When I called reception, they told me it could take a long time to adjust to the new temperature I had set. We got upBreakwast was terrible, definitely not worth it, and there was no one around for help. I would still stay again because of the location

Will stay here again. Awesome place to stay!

Posted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: Location, staff, price, cleaniness, etc
The hotel is located in safe area. Gracia road (all the shopping,) is a 30 secs walk. Restaurants are open till 12. Mins to walk there. The metro is 1 min walk away. Taxies are everywhere and very polite if you preferred. It took less than 10 mins in a taxi for us to get to clubs and beach. Las Ramblas is 15 mins by train. We got a great price for this hotel on expedia. The hotel staff, except for one person were very helpful and polite. I asked if they can give me us a lesson driving a stick at midnight and they did. We learned how to properly drive a stick this trip lol. We decided to extend our stay here in Barcelona and they were happily accommidated us even when they are fully booked. We could have gone somewhere else close by, but we chose to get a smaller room to stay here. We will stay here the next time we return.

Nice hotel, shame about the pool

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Staff were helpful, friendly enough, location was central.
Cons: Communication to clients, the pool was shallow. It looks alot biugger in the photograph
Location: In a central location, in walking distance to the Sagrada Familia and Metro stations.
We had one night there was a party and it kept my wife awake. Would have been nice to be informed before hand. I marked down for this. Other than that it was pleasnt and the bed was comfortable.

Fabulous City Break Hotel

Posted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Friendly, polite, pleasant staff. Clean, modern rooms. Great rooftop bar. Good food and drinks...reasonably priced.
Cons: More places to sunbathe on the terrace.
Location: Excellent location near the Passeig de Gracia. Lots of tapas bars and restaurants nearby. Easy to catch the tourist bus on the main road.
My friends and I were in Barcelona to celebrate my birthday. The hotel was situated within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and bars. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and modern and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Excellent!

Good hotel...no gym...noise room

Posted May 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
Good place to stay for a short period. No gym in the facility, but it was advertised as if there was one. The room had some unusual noise that sounded like someone was moving luggage in the above floor, but it came from the air conditioning system. The hotel did not do anything to remedy the issue, they did not even investigate after I reported to them.
