Spectacular, panoramic views of BarcelonaPosted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: The breakfasts and friendly, but efficient atmosphere.
We had four enjoyable days at this hotel, the highlight of which was a wedding on the sunlit patio overlooking Barcelona. The wedding breakfast was magnificent and the hotel staff were very attentive, particularly to the youngest member of our party, who has just turned six.

nice location at hilltop BarcelonaPosted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: i liked the location pool and beautiful scenic view of Barcelona from the room balcony and its approximity to amusement park and famous cugat church .
Cons: BATHROOM TO BE MADE MORE presentable and private.
it was an excellent rosort and our stay at hotel was memorable .The staff starting from the reception till you check out of the hotel was extra courteous ,cooperative, always smiling and helpful every moment of our stay.THE BATHROOM WAS WITHOUT ANY DOOR IN OUR ROOM. THIS IS THE ONLY NEGATIVE POINT DURING OUR STAY.

Sparkles, churros and wonderful vistasPosted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Breakfast (esp. the peach juice). The view. Hotel décor and ambience.
Cons: Shuttles to central Barcelona were sometimes fully booked, so you had to book in good time.
Location: Secluded mountainous location, ideal for a relaxing form of escapism. There was a theme park nearby, and central Barcelona was 30 mins away by car.
We knew that we were in for an exceptional stay when the receptionist presented us each with a glass of champagne upon check-in. Our room was outstanding, with a beautiful view from the spectacular windows and a spacious bathroom. There was a wide selection of breakfast items, all fresh and varying from day to day. Staff were very amenable to special requests (e.g. for vegetarians). There was also the option of having breakfast sat outside in the good weather. Very interesting infinity pool, starting undercover and finishing outside, with a jacuzzi. Couldn't fault the maintenance of the hotel as a whole. The hotel is up a mountain, so you are sacrificing easy access to central Barcelona for a more secluded and luxurious spot. It is probably the best hotel we have stayed in (it is expensive, but we found it money well-spent).

Nice view of BracelonaPosted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was expensive for what it was, fro a 5 star I was expecting a lavish breakfast but was as in a standard hotel.
Cons: Nice hotel, I guess only the disappointing breakfast
Location: Great for the view and a bit of a breeze, You are limited in restaurants choice unless you take a taxi or car to go down to Barcelona city center.
Picked this location to have a change of scenery than down town Barcelona. Beautiful views, nice hotel, nice area though limited to go out for dinner unless you drive or take a taxi. Had dinner on the terrace which was very pleasant. Room was spacious. Pool great though I expected more sun loungers and larger garden area. Staff excellent.

Nice hotel with excellent viewsPosted Aug 5, 2014
The most annoying part was that they advertise free shuttle to the city but do not count on it as it requires to be booked well in advance before you even get there for a large hotel shuttle vehicle is only for maximum of 6 guests . No consideration for guests with children or infants Stayed there for 3 nights with infant travelling to the city daily on the local buses.Suggestion to the management to acquire larger vehicle for free shuttle to the city other wise please stop advertising free shuttle service so that the guests are aware of this situation and can make better plan for their holidays

A beautiful oasis of calmPosted Jul 24, 2014
The Hotel is a 20 minute cab ride away from the centre of Barcelona up twisty mountain roads, but it's worth it. A beautiful, calm, friendly hotel with charming staff and beautiful rooms. It's a great base to get some relaxing pool time before heading into the wonderful, busy madness of Barcelona. Can't recommend it highly enough.

What a viewPosted Jul 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
Awesome hotel above the city of Barcelona. Very quiet but the service and access to the city is easy through their free shuttle service. The rooms are great and the staff is awesome. Made our first stay in Spain more than memorable.

Beautiful Hotel with Stunning ViewsPosted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: This hotel was perfect for our break. It was lovely to rest and relax in, comfortable, airy and with great facilities and not right in the city.
Cons: Only maybe a different menu for lunch and evening in the regular pool bar/restaurant.
Location: Hotel is right next to a small theme park but this didn't bother; we walked thru it and found a beautiful cathedral on the other side and more views.
My friend and I came here for 5 nights to relax and visit the city. We loved it! The hotel is altogether beautiful with fantastic views. It felt very posh on arrival; lots of marble, a fountain and water feature, well dressed and mannered staff, champagne at reception (although I couldn't stomach it as I felt rather queasy from the transfer up the mountain!). The room was lovely, clean and beds were very comfortable. The pool terrace is one of the highlights too as the view down to Barcelona is amazing over breakfast or sunbathing! The journey back down into the city took about 15 minutes (first trip down I felt queasy again (lightweight!) but subsequent journeys back and forth were fine so take a mental note if you suffer like I sometimes do). We found that the free hotel shuttle needs to be booked but we went by taxi and even shared with two other ladies who happened to be going down when we were. There was just one menu day and evening which was a bit limited and wasn't highly interesting to us but all the food was tasty. That said there was the 'posher' more expensive restaurant but this menu just wasn't our thing so maybe it's just us! My friend had a wonderful massage down in the health salon. There is a small theme park right next door and yes you could hear the roller-coaster on it's accent and a few screams on its decent but then it diverted away from us on the pool terrace and we could hear no more; certainly not an issue for us and we were out there a lot!

Panoramic views of cityPosted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: It's position and old world charm.
Cons: Tea and coffee making facilities in room
Location: We visited Barcelona, Sitges Montserrat and Tarragona
Friendly and efficient welcome. Staff exceptional throughout stay, impressed to be called by name. Lovely old building that had been restored sympathetically. Very comfortable room. Hotels position in the hills for us was an advantage as it gave us the opportunity to explore surrounding area as well as city
