highly recommded. the hotel is very well maintened. the neighborhood is local, nothing fancy but with great local restaurant. Complientary internet is very helpful since it is expensive and hard to get online in the internet cafe on the street. Metro is just 5 min away from the hotel.

“Good value for money”

Hotel is in a good location. Easy walking distance to La Rambla, Placa Catalunya and Placa Espanyol. Local shops and cafes nearby. Hotel staff are friendly and provide a good service.

It was an excellent hotel, but I'm younger and would prefer to stay in a hostel.

“Only a five minute walk to Las Ramblas......”

The hotel is exactly what you need it to be: quiet, clean, and comfortable. It's not like you'll spend very much time in your room anyway. The hotel is just outside the main section called Las Ramblas where all the shops and restaurants are, but it's a scenic five minute walk straight down Diputacio Street. Having to walk to the center did feel inconvenient at times, but if you bring everything you'll need with you while you're out you should not have any problems. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

“Wonderful staff!”

We arived without luggage for a one night stay before a cruise. The staff was extremely nice and tried very much go help us. We were very impressed.

“Very good hotel well placed and reasonable price”

Walking distance to Gaudi's buildings, to Sants station, comfortable and clean. Not 5star and does not pretend. Calm neibourhood, nice street cafes around for breakfast. Metro station in 2 min walk, taxi 10euros to any center location.

Very helpfull staff, great location close to metro which means you can get to all the city sights with ease. If went back would be happy to stay at this hotel again.

“fantastic hotel”

had a fantastic stay at hcc open . Wasn't as close to the ramblas or other attractions as we thought but we enjoyed the walk as we took in more of the local atmosphere. Staff at the hotel were fantastic ..really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and comfortable and I would 100% go back to this hotel as I enjoyed my stay there so much.

“Value for money”

Hotel was clean, quiet and in a good location - walking distance from the centre and even closer to the easy to navigate tube system. All in all the place was just right for a quick weekend away - no stress or hassle and close to a number of places to eat. Would easily stay there again although it's not major luxury it has all you need for a quick city break

This is a great hotel. It's very good value for money and although it's just a little way from the main tourist areas, it's not too far and has the advantage of being in a part of Barcelona where locals live and work. The hotel and staff were really fantastic. It's so easy to get into the centre - just 3 stops on the Metro which is around the corner at Rocafort station. Plenty of good value cafes for breakfast or a drink on Gran Via Corts Catalanes. Strolling through this part of the Eixample is interesting and gives a different view of Barcelona.
