“Great trip!”

This hotel was very well located, within walking distance to Sagrada Familia, Casa Batillo, La Pedrera, the zoo and associated park, many many restaurants, Placa Catalunya, Rambla and a block and a half from a metro station if you wanted to go somewhere else and across the street from a grocery store if you are a budget traveler. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We asked them numerous questions about places to see and how to get there and they always had a helpful answer with a smile. We had a room that looked out onto the street and had no problems with noise at night. Breakfast was really good with fresh fruit, breads, meats, cheeses, juices, coffee, eggs, and sausages. It was priced pretty well if you had it more than one morning. We had it every morning as it was tasty, enough to fill us up and convenient at the right price. I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone going to see Barcelona. If we went back to Barcelona we would stay here again.

“Nice Stay In Barcelona”

When you find a reasonably priced hotel in the heart of the city, you're already ahead of the game. When the place is clean and quiet, and the service good, you know you've struck pay dirt. Went during the off season (March), so I don't know how cheap, quiet or nice the place is in the heat of August. But it was a very nice place to stay.

“Great little hotel”

It is on a relatively quiet street which means you don't get that 'beside a race track' experience that can sometimes happen on a main road.It was very clean and refurbished in a modern style. A steady 15 minute stroll to the old centre of Barcelona and very near the Sagrada.We opted to book breakfasts for the whole of our stay which brought the cost down to about 8 Euros each per day for a browse at will buffet.Godd value and very friendly staff.

“Great Service”

Even though Spain is not usually recognized for this, the people and service at the hotel were great. It is a nice cozy hotel the only thing is that it is a couple of blocks too far from the busy tourist area. (7 Euros in Taxi, 15min walk)

“Great location, bang for buck”

My girlfriend and I stayed at Hesperia Carlit for a week between Christmas and New Years. We booked the hotel because it was a reasonable price and seemed ot be in a great location, close to all the sights we wanted to see. We were right on both accounts! Probably the most appealing detail is the location -- we walked everywhere and 1 block to metro. Would stay again!

“really lovely hotel”

Had a lovely time hotel well situated just a 5 min walk from the metro stn and about 1000m from the cathederal. would use it again but dont bother with the breakfast you can get it so much cheaper elsewhere.

The hotel is clean. classy and comfortable - a good value for Barcelona. The location is central but not too busy or noisy. We walked to several main attractions in downtown BCN.
