Overnight pre-cruise

Posted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: Comfortable room, and friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: The breakfast room seemed a little cramped, when busy.
Location: Located approximately 500 metres east of The Ramblas, but not in a really nice neighbourhood.
Although this hotel was situated in a not particularly "nicer" part of the city, the hotel itself is rather pleasant. The interiors are quite modern and clean, and our room on the 4th floor was adequately spacious. The shower had great water pressure! Breakfast buffet-style was okay, but not exceptional. Reception staff were most helpful, arranging taxis etc when requested.

Modern facilities and an excellent location

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Beds are not very comfortable. Extra pillows please and some more english channels on the TV.
Location: 10 Minutes walk to the beach and just round the corner from Las Ramblas. If it is raining do NOT be tempted to go to the was museum.
This hotel doesn't loo much from the outside but the rooms are basic and modern and therefore clean. This part of the city isn't the poshest area but it is in walking distant to the beach and the Barrion Gotico so good for bars and restaurants in the evening. Reception staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel. Close to Las ramblas.

The hotel was clean, but the room with double bed was really small. We then was put in the room next to the lift which was a little noise. Staff were great and helpful. All spoke English. Location is close to Las ramblas and local shops were great.

Perfect location, very standard hotel

Posted Jul 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
I would definitely stay here again if I return to Barcelona. You can't be the location - 5 minute walk to Las Ramblas, 15 minute walk to the beach, and tons of restaurants and bars right on the street. The hotel itself is very basic - our room was extremely small, the window looked out to another hotel window, and there are the bare minimum amenities. But! That's what we were looking for as we spent minimal time there. The staff is extremely helpful and kind and everything went very smoothly.

very nice & convenient location

Barcelona old town is a bit noisy at nights due to narrow streets and restaurants bars but you get used to it after a couple of days. It's very close to main attractions. Very good WIFI reception and quality (and free). Breakfast is 12 euros which is too exepensive. there are nice local cafe walking steps away and costs 2.7 euro for an excellent latte croissant. Room was very clean. It's walking distance from main attractions and subway.

Clean rooms & comfy beds. Wifi in rooms strong. Smell mostly in lobby area. Female staff very friendly and helpful, male staff, not so much.
