The property is in a convenient location to access metro and tourist attractions. Bedding was clean. Ray at the front desk was nice. Rooms are not soundproof at all. Our room was close to the front door and we could hear the door slam every time someone left the building. Could hear other guests showering and in one instance throwing up in the bathroom across the hall. A/c worked but sounded like a door buzzer every time it started. Wiring in the hostel is iffy. The over the bed lights flickered constantly if we had both on at the same time. Black mold in the bathroom. At one point another guest peed all over the toilet seat. I told front desk and he just told me to go use the other bathroom. I went back to check if the toilet had been cleaned. It had but the floor had not and there were dirty towels on the floor. This was my girlfriends first time in a hostel and because of this experience she will not stay in one again. I have stayed in numerous hostels, BCN 46 is old and gross. Would not stay here again and would not recommend to other people.

For £100 a night I did expect a little more at least a private bathroom. Room is very tiny no space to put your things. only reason I booked as it was in the city centre. The location is honestly great. Right next to Sagrada Família and many more attractions. But the hotel it self wasn’t good at all .

Very good location. The front desk attendant during the day was very helpful. Would recommend they put hangers In the room for towels and/or jackets.

This is a very nice property within walking distance to many points of interest. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service was exceptional. My sister and I were really pleased with all we got for the cost. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again if ever in Spain.

There was construction issues with hotel and pipping noises continuously coming from the walls. The Hotel staff said there was nothing they could do. Sleeping was non existent, making my stay horrible. At one point, even a construction worker came inside the room to view something from the work sight. The patio was in horrible conditions, a disgrace. I will never stay in that hotel never again. See attached pictures. I am looking for a full refund. Thank you.

The location was good, close to the main plaza. The room was great good enough for two people and was super clean, the only downfall was that the room got really hot at night and aircon wasnt working well.

It was much better then expected with a few things different from the normal hospitality you'd receive from a hotel. Things like insisting on waking me up every morning for cleaning or complaining about a lil makeup on a towel from my spouse, are definatly not what I'm use to. But the staff was helpful and for the price itvwas ok....

Small room for three beds not 3 rooms.
Website Ãdvertising description said this had three rooms instead of three beds. I was very disappointed. . To call this a triple room is very deceptive to me. The normal price was inflated and then discounted.

The room they offer on arrival had 3 beds cramme in to a tiny room, a very small window and small bathroom. Before I even entered the room the ported offered me an upgrade at a further cost of 25€ per night for a slightly better family room - which I took.

I would recommend this Hotel to everyone, it was quite, clean, confortable and the staff was excellent. The Hotel is downtown close to many touristic sites and entertainments.

Great Hostel. Good Price. Primo Front Desk Lady.
The lady on reception is awesome. Helpful, engaging, positive. We loved our stay especially because of her. The room was heat for the price. We payed more for a hotel that wasn't a scratch on this place. Within walking distance to most things central. Secure. Great place. Recommend it.

Overpriced hostal in the center of Barcelona
The hostal is located in 10 min walk from plaza Catalunia, which is the only good thing about this place. Other than that, there is nothing good about this place. The rooms are so packed that you can barely squeeze between bed and a wall. The ceilings are very high though. The AC is nominal and don't really control the temperature. There is no furniture in the room and the only place you can sit is the bed itself. Overpriced and very uncomfortable.

Friendly staff. AC did not work despite repair attempts by staff. A simple crash pad in the city, close to metro. Parking hopeless on the streets, as was the zoning system and how to decipher it. Toll fees to enter Barcelona are horrendous, we will never return after being ripped off. Go to other cities, plenty good ones.

Receptionist was very friendly. Rooms were small, but clean. Only complaint is that the walls are very thin so you hear clearly everything everyone is doing in the rooms next to yours. Average hotel, bargain prics.

Stayed here for 5 nights. The location is great, just 10 minutes from La Rambla and the center of Cataluyna square. The staff was nice and welcoming and was able to answer the many questions that I had. Shared bathroom but the price was good.

Good place to stay. Right in the middle of points of interests...especially if you like walking around. New phase of the hotel is clean and peaceful. Staff very accomodating and helpful. Room is small but if just for sleeping, not bad. Bathroom is kind of tight but worked fine. Room was not done at check in time of 1pm. Hotel should change check in time to 2pm or 3pm so guests don't wait. Otherwise, it was a fine place for short trip to Barcelona.

The staff in the hostel speaks fluent English and they are friendly and helpful with directions to most places. We stayed the first night in the main hostel and the rest of the trip, we stayed in the newly renovated part of the hostel. The decor in the main hostel are quite dated but the newer part of the hostel are quite nice and comfortable. The towels are changed daily and they provided the basic amenities like toiletries. We also had access to the microwave and kettle. There are many places to eat around the hostel and it is near to some of the tourist attractions and shopping. The hostel is fairly central and easily accessible. It is within walking distance to Placa De Catalunya, Gothic Quarters and Las Rambas. The airport bus stops at Placa De Catalunya.

Good hostel for a short stay
Very clean and well maintained. Rooms close to reception were very noisy (bring ear plugs). The safe in our room was broken as well as the AC. Comfortable beds with linen and towels provided.

Newly renovated modern hostel
This hostal is in the final stages of being renovated. It is clean and beautiful. We were greeted by Merlene who was funny, kind and helpful with any questions we had. She made us feel comfortable and took great care of us. It was a pleasure to meet her during our trip.
