“Ideal base for sightseeing”

The hotel was ideal for us. We just wanted somewhere to rest our heads after a days sightseeing in the city. It was small but comfortable, very clean and staff very helpful. There are a lot of stairs to the rooms which maybe a problem for some people but one staff member said a lift is being installed later this season (2012). We would definitely recommend Hostal Centric!

“Centric - does exactly what it says on the tin!”

Great spot, a short walk from all the action but still quiet enough to get a good nights sleep (or afternoon siesta!). Staff are really helpful, the place is very clean and the rooms are well priced - what more can you ask for. We can't wait to go back.

“Hostal Centric”

This hotel was a truly lovely little hotel max. 5 min walk from Placa Cataluna. There is no elevator but the stairs make it even more cosy and at home. We really enjoyd our stay there and I would recomenmend it to everyone.

“GREAT LOCATION AT BARCELONA”

The hotel has a great location, everything is near, there are bus and metro stops nearby, Plaça Catalunya is 5 minutes away, the neighborhood is really quiet and safe! The hotel staff is really friendly and helpul, they tried to solve every need we had, like a hairdrier and usb cable for a digital camera! The hotel is pretty safe and quiet. The only thing I have to mention against this hotel is it´s lack of elevator, you must climb the steps to your room with your luggage, so it is kind of tiring!!! But for the price you really get a good service overall. I would stay again!

“Who said Hostal?”

The hostal was in a really convenient location not far to Placa de Catalunya and Las Ramblas and Metro stations. The Hostal was a very pleasant surprise. We were very impressed with the en-suite rooms we were given as they were better than many hotels we have stayed in. The "hostel"/hotel was newly refurbished, very clean and the staff extremely helpful. The only gripe we had was that all noise carries off the hard floors and up the central staircase. Overall this hostal represented great value for money. We would definately check in if we went back.

“A great example of a budget hotel”

The Hostal Centric was basic but exactly what I wanted. The location was central and within easy walking distance of the undeground and many interesting places.The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful. It did not have a lift and the stairs were steep, so it is probably not suitable for people with small children or those who find stairs a problem, but for me it was fine.I will definately stay there next time I visit Baecelona.Although it did not have a restaurant there were plenty of places to eat and drink near by.
