Friendly and Accommodating StaffPosted Nov 2, 2013
Pros: Staff was very nice and accommodating. Location was great.
Cons: size of room and bathroom. no shower booth
Location: Location was good, near two metro station and Casa Mila and also good restaurants. Even close to city.
Me and my partner stayed for 3 nights, and staff was very friendly and accommodating. We went to restaurants that hotel staff recommended and it was fantastic. Hotel is surrounded with lots of good restaurants and located near two metro stations. 5 minutes walking to Casa Mila. The room was little tiny, not enough space to open our luggages, bathroom was also too small, no window in the room, but still think good value of money.

That's much better than the rate it gets on this website. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

One off stay.Posted Nov 14, 2012 on Hotels.com
Firstly, the location is ideal, lots of bars and tapas places around yet the prices are great, not like in centre. And the last plus side was- the rooms were clean. BUT Very difficult to find, not posted properly...even taxi driver gave up! It's in an old building complex, sitting in one floor, which probably used to be 1 big flat in the past. Please be aware that if you are looking for a very cheap place to crash for one night it is ok however if you are looking for comfort and relaxing in room than Dont book! En suite rooms had no windows!!! Seriously. The room was small but clean, very basic. Air con worked well. Very noisy at around 3 am but we didn't care too much. Towels and hand wash provided, that's it. Nowhere to buy water or any other drink, no Internet. Spar shop next door tho. Would we come here again? For one night needing a place to sleep only and paying the same price, yes. But for more than 1 night, absolutely not. It's also worth mentioning that the staff was very polite, nice and spoke basic English.

well maintained, clean location for a low costPosted Nov 1, 2012 on Hotels.com
The whole facility was always spotless and smelled nice. It was stylish and the amenities were new and well maintained. It was close enough to walk to the main Plaza or anywhere else you wanted to go. Surrounding area felt pretty safe even at night. However, staff members did not speak English and there was only one bathroom (inc. 1 shower and 1 toilet) for the whole floor. Overall, I highly recommend it. It was a great value for the money.

GF and I loved it!Posted Jun 24, 2012
Pros: Location and amenities
Cons: The fridge was broken so we couldn't stock up on yogurt haha
Location: Awesome, read above. Great places to eat - El Filete Ruso, Bon Gusto, Granja Armengol just to name a few.
Girlfriend and I were a little scared of the reviews on this site to be honest, but were also gladly surprised once we arrived to LK Muntaner. I've never rated a hotel before because they usually have let me down in some way, but without wanting this to sound fake, I would stay at LK over and over again. The location was great and very convenient, loads of restaurants and little foods shops nearby, there is this place called Granja Armengol where we had yogurts, milk, cheese, milk chocolate and etc for breakfast, very cheap and fresh. It's about 3 blocks away from L5's Hospital Clinic metro station. The hotel has a supermarket literally next door, which is simply awesome when you need milk, water, bread, etc. Plus, the staff were always friendly to us and let us borrow cutlery and even take a shower before heading to the airport after we had checked out. So in all honesty, I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks me about a good place to stay in Barcelona.
you get what you pay forPosted May 29, 2012 on Hotels.com
-paper thin walls -small room -did not provide new towels or fixed room in the morning -on second floor but has elevator - A.C stopped working after 2hrs. -10 min walk to closest metro -good neighborhood -lots of stores/restaurants/supermarkets nearby.

Good hostal for the pricePosted May 11, 2012 on Hotels.com
The room was clean and spatious, but the windows were facing a loud street. Also, we booked a shared bathroom, which was always available. However, the bathroom was located at the end of the hall from the room, so we always had to walk past the reception and most other rooms to get there. The hotel is within 15 minute walk from Casa Mila and 30 min walk from La Rambla, so a good location.

no sense of securityPosted Apr 1, 2012
No sound proof at all. Location is alright but not fantastic. Basically, quality = amount paid. Be you can feel the bottom of the bed as bed is really soft.. no window, altogether i have 3 doors in my room. Just have no sense of security.
