Great Location in Barcelona

The hotel is very well located. Walking time is 5 minutes to the Sagrada Familia and metro. It is 2 km to La Rambla and 2.5 km to Park Guell. The Lazza has 7 rooms. Ours was away from most of the others and was large and had a very large private bath. We had a small window that opened up onto a street that was a little noisy at times. We had to keep it open because the window with a floor fan next to it was the only source of ventilation. We couldn't get the room temperature below 27C in early September and we suppose that this could be a bigger issue in the summer. The staff were friendly but rarely seen. We had a private key to the front door as well as to our room.

Great Hostel.

This was a good experience for us. We were able to lock up all of our stuff on a daily basis. There was a lock on each individual door, as well as the outside door. We were given a key to both, and could come and go as we pleased. Not more than a 10 minute walk to the Metro (although it seems longer with lots of luggage)-VERY close to Sagrada Familia. Great LOCATION! Very nice staff. Several cute and quaint cafes all around. Only complaint-we were expecting a hotel and this is a hostel. Just good to know where you are going ahead of time. Comfy beds, they clean everyday. Worked great for us in the price we paid.

good value and nice host

The hotel Lazza is a good value for the money and is in a good location. Only 4-5 blocks to La Sagrada Familia and the subway and supermarkets/delis nearby. The hostess was very nice and helped us book a taxi at 4 am. The triple room we got was large and so was the bathrm. The only downside was that the large tub has no shower curtain, but it wasn't too messy because the tub was jacuzzi size. And one of the bed mattresses was really saggy. Other than that, i would go back to this hotel. There is no lift, but all the rooms are only one short flight up.
