Nice central guesthouse with amazing elevator!Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: The hotel is in an old building, and that was part of the experience. The hotel rooms have been renovated so they are comfortable, quiet and clean.
Cons: Hooks in the bathroom, and drinking glasses.
Location: The hotel is in a very nice part of the city. It is near Placa Catalunya, and Sagrada Familia. Good cafes, tapas bars and restaurants are close by.
We spent three nights at the hotel. It was quiet and comfortable. The building is old and charming, and especially the elevator! The rooms have been renovated and are clean. The location is a short walk to Passeig de Gracia and it was very easy to get to the major tourist attractions. We enjoyed the cafes in the area, and the tapas bars and restaurants. The staff at the hotel was very helpful.

Excellent little hotel in the heart of Barcelona.Posted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: The staff and the location.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Location: La Sagrada Família, La Pedrera, Passeig de Grácia, Parc Güell, Museo de Picasso, El Palau de la Musica Catalana, Barri Gótic, La Rambla, & more...
Lovely old hotel has been updated nicely. The staff were OUTSTANDING!! They were incredibly helpful and kind. The room was quite nice and comfortable. The antique elevator was fun to ride in. Would love to stay there again if we visit Barcelona in the future.

Definitely going back there!Posted May 31, 2014
Excellent room, clean and brand new. Everything you need, amazing staff from receptionist to cleaning ladies, typical old-fashioned building... and 15 min away to everything you need by foot (5 min from metro and bus). Go for it, it's a very good place to stay!

This hotel was in an excellent neighborhood. The hotel staff spoke great English and helped us find nightly activities nearby. We will definitely stay here again.

Great locationPosted Apr 26, 2014
This hotel is in a fantastic location. 20 minute walk from Placa De Catalunya and just on the borders of the center. Plenty of local bars and cafés near by at cheap prices. Close to the bus tour stops. Staff were very helpful when we needed to print tickets off. Downside is I thought we were having 3 single beds but instead had 1 single and 1 double for 3 people. Very clean stunning building.

Nice hotel with good locationPosted Apr 23, 2014
Cons: Some maintenance needed, though -- faucet was loose, towel rack was broken -- minor annoying stuff.
Location: Lots to do in Barcelona!
Spent a lovely time here for three nights. Very friendly staff, good location (near Paseig De Gracia), room clean, serviced daily (we didn't expect that!)

Economy Double Room are not what photos showPosted Jan 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
We booked an Economy Double Room for 5 nights. Expecting to get something like what the photos showed. But no we got a small room with double bed jammed into corner so one has to climb in from end of the bed on one side. Dont think when looking at photos of the outside that it is whole building, accommodation is only on 2nd floor. No chair to sit on, because room to small to have one. Room has only just been renovated, with a bathroom just about size of bedroom.
