Its quiet close to the beachPosted Apr 13, 2014
The Hotel is not in the city centre but still quiet close to the metro station. Although the air condition is not working during our entire stay.

Excellent hotel at a very reasonable price.Posted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: It was very clean and in a good location.
Location: The hotel was about 15 minutes walk from the beach and seafront restaurants. There were lots of little cafés nearby for breakfast.
The hotel is in a good location - far enough out to be peaceful but near a metro station and a walkable distance from both the beach and the city centre. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. If I come back to Barcelona I would certainly stay again.

Good 4 star hotelPosted Apr 6, 2014
Very clean and comfortable. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Very efficient checking in and out. Surrounding area a little run down which was initially off putting - however soon got our bearings for the metro which was very convenient to get to the centre. Liked staying in a quieter area - would think the hotels in the centre would be noisy at night. Not keen on having a view of the cemetery from our window!! Overall would definitely recommend it to others.

Fantastic obliging staffPosted Feb 4, 2014
Due to a delayed flight ,we arrived at 23:00 hrs .the staff were welcoming and courteous .the hotel was spotless and the room was everything you need for a w/end in Barcelona .breakfast was self service and plenty of choice . All front desk staff spoke English (ignorant nation as we are)and were very helpful with local knowledge. The hotel was a 7 euro taxi ride from the main town however could be walked across the seafront quite comfortable without you young children ,with plenty of taxis en route should you change your mind . Very minor point -no tea making facilities in the room Top hotel ,reasonably priced .

Modern clean and comfortable hotel.Posted Dec 27, 2013
Pros: This hotel is far superior in what it offers - and much better value than - an average Travel-lodge type hotel in England.
Cons: Possibly sound-proofing between rooms (e.g. door-slamming and voices at night) but no sound can be heard from the corridors
Location: See above
Service helpful and friendly. Breakfast if booked on arrival only 9 euros - wide choice of fruit, cheese and meat, baguettes, cereal, hot food, juices and hot drinks - we ate enough to last us through the day! Near the coast and the traditional seaside eating places but also only 5 minutes straight walk to the metro : the open-top tour bus also stops nearby so one has the relative peace of being outside the city with the easy access to it.

really nice hotel to stay in for a few days - good location and near beach. we decided not to get breakfast at the hotel this time as restaurant too busy and packed. It was easier to go out to local rabler and sit outside cafe...

Hotel 4 Barcelona, Good location for beach& walksPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: Quiet location, good nights sleep, excellent breakfast, fantastic staff, nice clean rooms good showers, safe in the room, even has a gym
Cons: Location map in the foyer to show "you are here" would be helpful for the first time visitor
Location: If your a beach lover or city explorer this hotel has the lot, there's even a municipal bike hire facility for you to explore on your own
Excellent hotel within easy walking distance of all Barcelona beaches port, restaurants, tourist bus routes. The beach and port area are just a gentle stroll away the restaurants in the port area are excellent value for money along with the efficient and friendly staff they make the experience one to remember. The hotel staff are efficient, informative and friendly, they are in the breed of "can't do enough for you", a rare breed for travelers these days. The use of the Barcelona tourist buses with three distinctive routes, red blue and green, the stop only a couple hundred meters from the hotel. On these buses which run every 10/20 minutes you can explore the extremities of this wonderful city, a two day pass will allow you to visit all the route, each tour taking approx 1 and a half hours, you can hop on and off the buses which have stops at all the major sights, it even has a head phone narrative for you to gain knowledge as you view the sights and culture of this marvelous city. We had a three night four &1/2 day break, this sights, food and experience is one we'll savour and we'll definately return to experience this again.
