Nice hotel, close to the beachPosted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: New building and very modern inside
Cons: More English TV channels
Location: Was a good 45 min walk from the hotel to the city centre but very close to the beach and the area was really quiet which was nice to come back to
It was a nice hotel. Not much use of the TV as it only had sky news in English. The room was a good size, would have been better to have a double bed rather than two singles pushed together as we had booked a double bed room. Made came everyday and kept the room really clean and changed the towels just like the rest of the hotel. Can't fault the cleanliness

Very close to the best beach in Barcelona.Posted Aug 31, 2014
Thought the area wasn't great at first, but so close to Bogatell beach and the tourist bus. Three blocks from the metro and five stops to the main square. Great views from 7th floor rooms. Most staff we're amazingly excellent, going out of their way to help. Weren't any children there during our stay. Breakfast was basic and self serve with not much room for people to get things. Overall a lovely stay, would go again.

Nice hotel, but wifi needs upgradingPosted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness
Location: Beach, restaurants
Nice reasonably priced hotel close to the beach and restaurants on rambla de poblenou. The rooms were cleaned to high standards and the interior looked new. However, had issues logging on to the wifi on my Ipad and Iphone and was told by the reception that this was not an unusual occurrence. Wifi was available in the rooms but was very slow most of the times and struggled to load content.

Great Modern Hotel Near BeachPosted Jul 13, 2014
Really nice and very modern hotel. About 2 blocks from Barcelona metro station (south) and 2 blocks (north) from the beach. Fairly easy walk to the marina and Casino if desired. Comfortable bed and flat screen tv with several international channels. Good shower with rainfall shower head. Hotel has very knowledgeable English speaking staff, who were very accommodating. Hotel offers free beach towels (with 10 euro deposit) so no need to bring your own. Wireless internet was free and fairly fast. Hotel is also a block from a stop on the "green line" of the Barcelona Bus-tastic tour bus, which was conveinent for site seeing and not having to buy a tourist pass for the Metro. Not very many restaurants in the area but the hotel does have one; but we never ate there. The hotel bar was nice and offered a liter of Sangria for 10 euro, which was comparable to other places in Spain that we visited. Only negative was the brunch in the restaurant. It was decent for a European brunch standards, just a little over priced for everything offered (IMO). I would recommend saving your money and get breakfast at the McDonalds 2 blocks away (on the beach).

Nice hotel, fairly close to the beachPosted Jul 9, 2014
Lovely room, beautiful bathroom with an amazing shower. Hotel was fairly close to the beach approx. 10-15 minute walk. A strip of restaurants only 5-10 minute walk from hotel along with the metro line into the centre of town. Only thing that would make it better would be a swimming pool.

Close to the beach!Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, friendliness of staff, and access to metro and beach.
Cons: Iron in room. Tea and coffee making facilities in room.
Location: As said, access to metro and beach is great.
Only a 7-8 minute walk from the Llacuna metro stop. Some dodgy smells on the walk to the hotel, but the hotel itself is lovely. Very clean in the lobby and in the room. Always getting a friendy 'Hola' from reception when entering the building. Very helpful at reception with queries ragarding, for example, air-conditioning in the room and access to attractions. Nice and quiet in the room. 5 minute walk to fantastic beach was brilliant.

Friendly staff, so much to do in the areaPosted Jul 6, 2014
Hotel was less than 10 minutes away from port Olympic, were there is lots of restaurants and bars, water sports and 3 long beaches, we are a young couple and therefore only stayed in a standard room, would of been more convenient to have a kettle in the room however on nights we didn't want to go out for something to eat there is a supermarket just round the corner in a shopping centre. hotel was also very clean. staff were so friendly and helped us on what is the best transport and best places to go whilst in Barcelona, would definitely stay here again! Also if you are a young or active couple, a trip to Montserrat is a must, the walk up to the top of saint Jeroni has the most breathtaking views! We got all the info to do our own route to Montserrat of the staff at the hotel :)

nice hotel close to beach. good for sight seeing .Posted Jun 24, 2014
Cons: provide tea and coffee making facilities in room.
Location: 5 minutes walk to beach. Bus stop and metro, local shops and street cafes nearby.
No facilities for tea or coffee making in room would stop us from using this hotel again. Staff unaware of local post box location when it is close by.
