Good price, convenient and clean.Posted Jul 11, 2014
Cons: Staff helpfulness.
Biggest impression, the room and hotel were well maintained and very clean. The day staff was helpful but the night staf were of no help with recommendations of any kind. Our room was number 2. It is a large room with a nice size patio.....no view but lovely to sit and figure out the days plan or have a nice bottle of wine. There is noise from the metro system moving from under the hotel. Walking home late at night everything in the area is closed up and streets empty but in the day it seems safe.

Barcelona!Posted Jul 8, 2014
Lovely little well maintained, clean and comfortable hotel in a fantastic location to discover all that Barcelona has to offer. We stayed here two years ago which we enjoyed and had a similarly favourable experience this time around. One of the highlights that time was the reception staff who could not do enough for us - this time not so much but I would stay there again. Wifi connection was pretty weak though.

Good hotel close to city centrePosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Nice room, quiet but conventient location
Cons: Breakfast was expensive so we ate out most days - which was not a problem as there's plenty near by.
Location: Walking distance of La Rambla, the old quarter and lots of attractions. Handy for the aiport bus which drops off at Plaça de la Universitat
The hotel was nicely decorated and clean, very handy for la rambla and other attrcation

Great hotel for convenient sightseeingPosted Aug 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great hotel located a few blocks off Las Ramblas, and convenient to walk to most sightseeing places and restaurants. For the price, it was worth it. Would recommend for travelers who are going to be out and about most of the day and not looking for a large or overly luxurious accommodation.

Awesome location. Clean room, nice patio.Posted Jul 31, 2013
Five of us stayed there for 2 nights and we all were thrilled with our choice of hotel. Very modern, clean and well located. We had a room with a very large terrace. It was wonderful after a day of activities to relax on the terrace with a glass of wine.

The service left much to be desiredPosted Jul 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
My husband and I stayed for three nights at Hotel Advance. We had booked a room "with wifi." Not only was there no wifi in the room, but the lobby's wifi reception was very sporadic. We ended up listening in on other people's Skype conversations as we were typing e-mails. The staff said that the Internet problem had been ongoing for some time... So why not get a new system? The room was OK, but our toiletries were never changed. There was no attention to detail.

Good "no frills" hotelPosted May 24, 2013
Cons: Breakfast seating accommodation a bit small for hotel size
Very quiet small hotel in a good position to explore the City Centre. 2 mins walk from the metro, 10 mins to Rambla, 15 mins to the Cathedral. Modern hotel built within an old building, rooms well appointed and adequate in size although Americans will find them small
