Great StayPosted Nov 16, 2013
The front desk staff were fantastic. Especially the evening staff. Room clean, bed was comfortable! Breakfast was included in our rate. It was ok!

Central location. Excellent staffPosted Oct 5, 2013
Couldn't fault this hotel in terms of location, cleanliness of the room and the hotel staff. The reception staff were extremely helpful at recommending places to go, booking taxis and printing our tickets for Sagridia Familia. The room had ample space and very clean. The only slight issue I had was that the beds were a bit hard however after a day of walking the streets of Barcelona I probably would have slept on a park bench!!! I would strongly recommend this hotel!

Less than average stayPosted Oct 2, 2013
Cons: Bed mattresses and front desk staff politeness
Location: Just close to Sagrada Maria...you have to commute to anything else often requiring change of stations.
Stayed for 4 nights at this hotel after having stayed 2 nights in a different hotel in Barcelona and the difference is hugeee. The staff are not the friendliest and our room wasn't the most comfortable.

"Great hotel"Posted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: the staff
Cons: the sound didn't work on the BBC News channel (worked on the others)
Location: well placed for metro and Sagrada Familia
This hotel is definitely worth its three stars. The hotel was spotlessly clean and perfectly comfortable, the air conditioning worked well and it is well enough positioned to get around Barcelona, particularly by the very convenient metro system. Most importantly, the staff at the hotel were all wonderful, polite and helpful. We had a problem booking tickets to the Sagrada Familia on-line (the hotel has free wi-fi, which is a real bonus) and they went out of their way to help us get things sorted, even going with us down the street to the cash ATM to check if our tickets had been sent there. We didn't opt for breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on the food, but there is a very reasonably priced cafe/restaurant across the road where we often ate because they were friendly, didn't charge silly tourist prices and the food was good.

Great bright, modern hotelPosted May 16, 2013
Pros: Modern, clean rooms
Cons: Noise from lifts which were situated outside our door, but didn't stop us from sleeping and got used to it
Location: Out of the main buzz, but close enough to walk to it to get there
Spotlessly clean, friendly, efficient staff. Our room (704) faced onto the street and was lovely and bright. Fabulous sized bathroom and spacious bedroom too. Only 5 minute walk to Sagrada Familia and about 25 minute walk to Las Ramblas/Marina areas, but all on the flat and easy to get to, so no qualms about recommending the area. Would recommend going room only as 12Euros seems quite expensive for their buffet style breakfast. We used local place straight across the road called Tchey and both got fed for 6 Euros. Two supermarkets just few doors down on left and right hand side of hotel for drinks & nibbles etc. Lovely sun terrace on roof with some loungers and views of the city - would highly recommend for the price.

Nice LocationPosted May 15, 2013
Pros: Walking distance to many major city sights.
Cons: Sound proofing to the hallways.
Location: Walking distance to La Sagrada Familia.
This hotel was clean however the bed and pillows were uncomfortable and the hallway noise was very bad.

"functional, but tired"Posted Apr 25, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff at the reception.
Cons: The elevators and no view from window on 7th floor.
Location: Very residential at night. Very quiet and far from restaurants.
Good overnight hotel if you are on the go. No view from my window at this hotel: just a brick wall. In a quiet residential area of the central city, yet requires a good walk to the Catalunya Plaza, the Cathedral, Ramblas, Boqueria. Worked fine as I needed a hotel for an early morning departure from Barcelona to an international destination and know the city from previous trips. Clean rooms and very quiet. All very functional, but the overall state of the hotel is very 3 stars.

Nice HotelPosted Mar 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very basic, but clean. Room & beds soo uncomfortable, nice staff tho.. Food not good. But lots of local tapas bars to lift the gloom.
