The hotel Barcelona was wonderfulPosted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Everything was top notch.
Cons: Other than wishing for some of the things we are used to as Americans - stated above - we were quite pleased with this hotel
Location: Walk down toward the harbor and there are many nice places to eat very close to this hotel. Sit outside and enjoy the view. English is spoken.
Everything about this hotel was very nice. They had the best shower system we have ever had in Europe - no water conservation here. The hotel is nicely situated to many places to eat and is not too far from the shopping area - Las Ramblas. Just remember, if you are used to American services they do not provide a wash cloth in the bathroom. A face towel and bath towel but nothing smaller. And don't expect to get ice unless you ask for it from the bar - which they will provide but there is no ice bucket to keep it in. This is just the European way - no bath mat to use after your bath, no box spring on the bed beneath the mattress ... but this hotel will be a good choice.

A very convenient pre cruise hotelPosted Sep 12, 2013
Pros: Convenience, clean modern room and very good location
Cons: We were happy for what we paid for and expected
Location: Great location in the gothic area, near the cathedral and other areas of interest plus the main Les Rambles tourist area .
Just what we needed after a long flight. Clean, comfortable, quiet and very convenient. An easy and safe area of interest to wander around to find and enjoy one of the many restaurants nearby. Then a good breakfast before a short taxi ride to the ship. A great start to our holiday..

Central location but noisy at nightPosted Sep 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was in a good central location, near La Ramblas, Barcelona Cathedral and the main square. Unfortunately we were on the second floor on the main road side and the traffic at night didn't stop, it was very noisy, hooting horns etc so we were unable to sleep. We were room-only so the only contact we had with staff was at the reception. They were helpful and answered any questions we had.

Great Hotel in the perfect locationPosted Jul 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was situated between the barric gothic region and el born and slightly north of barceloneta which made for the perfect location since you can walk to nearly any historic site. plus the Jaume I metro stop is nearby which made getting around to other districts very convenient. The hotel was very nice and well appointed though a little smaller than i had anticipated. The room though was comfortable and modern. My girlfriend and I really liked the rainfall shower! While wifi was included with the rate, we had to pay a fee to use the safe...i wish they had just included this with the price instead of nickle and dime you. Otherwise it was a great stay and the staff was very helpful!

Nice HotelPosted Jul 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a very nice hotel in a decent location. 15 min walk to Placa Catalunya and also 15/20 mins walk to the beach. Can be a little noisy being on a main road but we had 6th floor room so not a problem. WIFI in the hotel is very poor though - extremely slow!! Overall it is a good hotel and well worth staying at.
