I booked this hotel because of locaion and it is centrally located. However, be aware that some transportation do not stop at the hotel front door. It is located on a narrow side street off Ramblas. In the early hour or late at night, small cars or taxi could come to the front. But, I booked a shared transfer from the airport and the driver of the van refused to come into Ramblas. There is nothing wrong with the hotel but you must confirm with the transfer company if they would drop off on Ramblas which is only 100 feet away. The room is small but has everything I need. The staff is very friendly and speaks good English.

great location , staff is friendly , room is clean . But nothing in bedroom except bed . No fridge , no cofemaker even though NO ANY GLASS or cup for drinking water( this is 3 stars hotel and we paid $130/ night) . Room is clean but pillows smell old and bad . Overall : good!

Very Bad Experience
Payed a lot of money to stay at a hotel and was completely dissapointed. I got to the hotel and the AC wasnt working properly. Then found out the beds were two twin beds made into one using sheets to connect them. I was sleeping next to the "cleaning office" where the cleaning ladies were loud all morning long. They should be mindful of the people sleeping at 7-8 am. Throughout my stay , water was dripping from the bathroom ceiling. I was scared given the water was falling very close to the electric output where the hair blower was connected. The only good thing about this hotel are the front desk people who were very nice. Other hotels probably seemed like better options for the money. Never stayin here again.

Great location, tiny rooms.
The location is great but rooms are absolutely tiny, not even space to open up a suitcase. So the place is great if you are only planning to sleep there and spend tour time out and about. Spending time in the room is uncomfortable due to the room sizes.

Very good location if you want to be right in the touristy area. Close to Metro and shopping, etc. Room was clean and well-kept but run down for the amount of money we paid. You're paying for the location, not the room! Staff was above and beyond friendly, just wish the room was a little nicer (phone was falling out of the wall and didn't work, no plug for the bathtub).

This hotel is not as advertised. The rooms were extremely dirty. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. We had to ask is switch rooms as the bathroom smelled extremely bad and the water was running all night long. The noise coming from outside made it impossible to sleep and on every floor people were smoking.Therefore the smell was never ending. The only positives where that the location was good and we were able to check in early free of charge on our first day.

Excellent location with the metro station only 5 minutes walk away, bank and money changer (although I normally avoid these places because of high fees) right in the corner, shops and restaurants are few only few steps. La Boqueria and Old Churches are within quarter of a mile away.

The staff were incredibly helpful and made our stay very easy. It was a very busy time in Barcelona and our train was delayed overnight. They helped to organise a change in rooms and extra nights.

Good location for centre of Barcelona and very close to metro station making it easy to reach hotel and use as base for travelling. Breakfast available at reasonable rate with basic choice of breads pastries boxed cereals and coffee, cheese meat and yoghurt. Room was clean and reasonably quiet at night considering it was facing the street . There was small room safe large enough for iPad and other valuables but not a laptop. . TV in room though I didn’t use as no English Channels and reception of those available was variable . Staff were pleasant and helpful. Front doors tend to be locked after about 10pm and you have to ring bell for entry. The hotel is on side street very close to Las Ramblas and does attract homeless people begging but it doesn’t feel unsafe. If you just want a bed for a few nights to explore Barcelona and beyond then this is a suitable choice, but if you want more such as pool or restaurant then this isn’t fir you.

Location was convenient near La Rambla and the metro. However, the entrance was in an alley way with homeless people panhandling and a drug dealer who was there all the time (probably just weed but it was not very discrete). The staff was fine, we didn't interact much. We took the breakfast one day and it was ok for 5 euro but nothing special. Better food and deals were found on the street. There was construction going on in the center of the hotel right outside of our door so every morning there was hammering, etc. They don't start until 10am but that is early if you are on Spanish time. We didn't know about this when we booked and we called to cancel at one point and they did let us but they also didn't mention the construction going on. Our double room was 2 twin beds pushed together with a light switch in the middle. If you rolled around at night you would hit the switch on accident and turn the lights on in the room. This happened every night for us. The beds were not tied together so sometimes you would fall in the gap. It was a lot of money for a very mediocre hotel. I guess it is just the location that they can ask for that price. The bathroom had a bathtub which was nice but it was a very big awkward step to get in and out. It was fine for us but I would be worried if I was disabled or elderly. The air conditioning worked great!

Worst Place in Barcelona
I was shocked when I came to the room. Absolutely terrible, noisy from the other guests and a really disgusting bathroom, I didn’t even wanted to use the shower, that is how creepy it was. Really not worth the price, and I reccomend to never stay at this awful place!

The location is great. The hotel is O.K, very loud when people are in the hallways. The bed was hard, so prepare for that. There were washrooms close to my door which js very unpleasant when someone from another room uses them, bad spot for a communal washroom, especially when you pay a lot to stay at the hotel.

This is very basic hotel very close to the Ramblas. For the quality of the room the price was very high but basically you are paying for the location. I probably won’t be back as there are better and cheaper hotels in that area.

Minor temperature issues but otherwise awesome!
Rooms are a touch small and spare. It was really hot so I turned the AC on and it ac5blew even more hot air into the room. Apparently they don't turn on the AC in the hotel until summer. But I opened the windows and when I got back a few hour later it was very comfortable. Staff are helpful and friendly a d the location is amazing, right off La Rambla! Would definitely stay here again!
