Good hotel away from the busy RamblasPosted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: It's position.
Cons: Provide tea & coffee making facilities.
Location: Mauri, corner of Ramblas Catalunya & Provenca, is a great patisserie, and Mussol - 2 streets away in Arago, is great for coffee and Catalan food.
About a 15 minute stroll from the noisy & touristy Ramblas, Hotel Condes is very quiet and welcoming. It is very close to two of Gaudi's buildings, not too far from la Sagrada Familia, and very close to the beautiful Rambla Catalunya. The room, although next to the lift, was pretty quiet. It was a pity there were no facilities to make tea & coffee.

Cons: Computers area for the guest, I needed to make my flight confirmation and they offered me kindly enter to the Reception area to do it.
Location: Best location, anything is near.
We were very happy In our stay there, excellent location, It has a large bathroom, the room was quite bright, has enough drawers and cupboards, very comfortable bed. Excellent WiFi and free.

Safe & securePosted Nov 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our room was in the "classic" section and was lovely and very comfortable. Felt very safe and secure. Was within short walking distance to several great food offerings and $$$ shopping.

Fantastic locationPosted Nov 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great modern hotel in fantastic central location. Lots of tapas bars, restaurants and cafes close by. Service very good and friendly. A lovely walk to Plaza Catalunya and on to Las Ramblas. La Pedrera just across the street. Passeig de Gracia is the Champs E'lysees of Barcelona with lots of wonderful boutique shops and fabulous people.

The ideal location for a visit to BarcelonaPosted Nov 10, 2013
Pros: The excellent location and friendly, helpful staff
Location: The 'open top' bus stops very close to the hotel - a useful introduction to Barcelona in order to plan the visit.
This hotel is in a superb location on a fashionable avenue within walking distance of the city centre. The hotel is surprisingly an oasis of calm in this bustling city. The room was well appointed, and available ahead of the check-in time - a bonus when arriving from the airport. My booking was on a room only basis, and a delightful continental breakfast was available just across the street at the 'sister' hotel. A great way to start the day. An even better way to end it was at the rooftop bar Alaire, with fantastic views over the rooftops to the famous sites like La Pedrera and the Sagrada Familia.

Right in a centrePosted Oct 29, 2013
Geographically ideal - five minutes walk from Plaza de Catalunia. Friendly stuff, good cosmetics, more or less flexibility with checking-in/out. Excellent two-stars of Michelin Lasarte restorant - early booking is essential. Disadvantages are slim walls between rooms, sounds of underground trains early in the morning, absence of notices that pools are close for October-May.
