“Great location, great staff, simple hotel”

Great hotel, in the middle of everthing, the bus to and from airport is a block away, the tour buses and metro stop are all a block away. Just off of the La Ramble, which I liked because that street can get seedy after dark, so I liked being a few streets away from it. The front desk staff was great with recomendations and help when needed. Room is small and very simple, IKEA like, no frills, but clean, new, and a good bed and shower. The only thing I could say that would be slightly negative is that this might not be a good place to stay if your not a couple or very close friends, because the bathroom is not very private, the door is frosted and the shower doesn't really have a door so the floor gets wet during a shower, easy enough to clean up with an extra towel. The room doesn't have a lot of storage or places to hang things so if your an over packer you might have a space issue. Overall though great price, perfect location, very nice staff, clean and new. I would come back.

“Great location and Quiet Nights”

This hotel's location is great. One block from the Aerobus (airport express bus) final stop at Placa Catalunya, one block from La Rumbla. You can walk to the old city in 15 minutes too, the Gaudi Casa Batllo and Casa Mila are also within that walking distance. It is in the middle of a narrow side street, very quiet even in the daytime. The huge department store half a block away has an amazing supermarket. You can buy anything you need. We had a double Economy Plus room, with two twin beds pushed together. It fit what we needed. But if you spend more time in the room, you may find it small. There is only one chair and a small table. No microwave, no coffee maker. No English TV program. The hotel front desk staff all speak English and they are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and stylish in a minimalist way. I had good night sleep during my stay and would recommend it to travelers who are not there for luxury, but comfort and convenience.

“Amazing hotel, amazing location”

I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and was extemely satisfied with the hotel. It is in an amazing location, very central, close to the metro and if you are getting the bus from the airport the stop is literally 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The room was very clean and modern, I stayed in a double room which was on the small side but the space was used well so we could cope with it. We had breakfast one of the days and found it very good, there was a wide selection of food and drinks and the staff were friendly. Overall I would definitely stay in this hotel again and recommend it to family/friends.

The hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful. Although the rooms were fairly small, they were clean and adequate for a single traveller. The hotel is located in an ideal place, albeit within an alley but within walking distance of the major tourist attraction, and right next to Las Ramblas.

“Great location to see the city...”

Great location right off of Placa Catalunya. Staff was helpful, our room was clean and very comfortable once we figured out how to control the AC a little better. Breakfast was OK, could offer a little more variety. Piped in music was too "american" I recommend something a little more "spanish" to add to the experiance.

The hotel room was quite small, but there was everything in there that we needed and it was spotlessly clean. We had breakfast included in the price which was very nice and the dinning room was clean and airy. The staff were vey friendly. We would recommend this hotel.

PROs: - Great location only 2 minutes walk from Plaza Catalunya - Easy to find (Aerobus station - Direct bus from the airport - only a couple of hundred meters away) - Very good staff and very clean rooms CONs: - the rooms are a little bit small and the view is not so good (I could see the interior yard of the building)

“Hotel Denit Has It All”

In May, 2011 my wife and I spent five days at the Denit Hotel. We found it exceptional in its lLOCATION [minutes to the Gothic quarter, Ramblas, Airport bus, HoHo Bus, restaurants, pastry & gelato shops, Catalunya Plaza, metro stop, supermarket in El Cortez Norte Department Store in the Plaza], SAFETY of neighborhood, HELPFULNESS of staff, free & reliable INTERNET service. CLEANLINESS, and MAINTENANCE of facility. We especially enjoyed the individual AIR CONDITIONING in our room as well as the flat screen Sony TV. The room is very modern in decor [all white with minimal furnishings, apparently designed and furnished by IKEA]. Not a large room [approximately 10x25 feet] with double bed, desk, one chair but very adequate. Toilet and shower combined but both have plenty of room. The monogrammed towels are exceptional; lush with bath towel being extra large at approximately 40x60 inches. We did not participate in the breakfast so we can not comment on its content or value.

“Perfect hotel selection”

The Denit Hotel in Barcelona was ideal for our 8 day stay. The location put us at transportation hubs, convienient shopping and plenty of restaurants. The breakfast at 6 Euros was adequate. Hotel staff were very accomodating, especially at the front desk. The building was off a main street so their was absolutely no street noise. We lucked out.

Excellent staff. Location could not have been better. Only whine is that a small refrigerator in the room would have been welcomed. Still, definitely would return.
