“Sleek, modern hotel in residential neighborhood”
Very nice hotel. Clean, modern, quiet rooms. Decor is black and white stripes which may not appeal to everyone. Excellent shower and good sized bathroom. Hotel is in residential neighborhood about 10 mins walk from Plaza Catalunya and from Sagrada Familia. There are small cafes and restaurants close to hotel. Hotel also has free Wifi in all rooms, a computer and printer available for use in lobby, and a small rooftop pool and sun beds. Reasonably priced compared to hotels in central area.
“A good money's worth”
We do not require much of our hotel since we were out most of the day exploring Barcelona on foot. This hotel gave us a good night's sleep, a warm shower throughout the day. High speed internet access for free, and free printing services. The staff was pleasant and the rooms were clean. The upstairs pool was nice to have after a few long days of walking around the city. The hotel is located perfectly within a walking distance to the Sagrada Familia, Passaig de Gracia and La Rambla. The Passaig de Gracia metro station gets you almost anywhere without the need to switch trains (including the airport).
“Europark -- clean and convenient location”
Really enjoyed my stay. It's conveniently located in the center of Barcelona. It's just 5 mins. from the subway station. If you don't feel like taking the subway, it's only a 10 min. walk to Passig de Gracia, which is a big road of restaurants and shops. There are a couple of markets including a fruit/seafood market called Conceptio next to the hotel, which made it even more convenient when you need little things. Room is clean and the pool area on the 8th floor is nice to relax and hang out at, the pool isn't really for swimming so don't expect to be able to swim much. The receptionist/manager guy in the morning/day time was a little cocky, but the guy at night is super friendly and helpful. I used the gym quite a bit too, and it's a nice little area with a bike, treadmill, and weights. It's not a super well-equipped gym but it gets the workout done.
“Very clean, modern chain-style hotel”
EuroPark had a good location, one block from the Gironia metro stop with clean amenities. Rooms were a very good size by European standards with large double bed (looked like one big king as they were put together). Beds were typical European, quite firm. Room and bathroom was quite clean with a full walk-in shower, which was cleaned everyday. Staff was very helpful, offering to make reservations to restaurants when asked. The staff even made taxi arrangements the next day for our travel to the airport and prompt wake-up calls. They even sent someone up to our room for the wake-up call when I had accidently knocked the phone off the hook -- very nice. Never had the breakfast, so I can't comment. The map they give you upon check-in was the best map I had of Barcelona (very detailed), definitely get one.
“great hotel-but not the beds!”
enjoyed our stay at Europark very much-is clean, modern, spacious, and well-located. no early check in after overnight flight-hotel was full-room was large with balcony that faced back of hotel-very quiet, but not too scenic (other buildings backs/balconies complete with laundry hanging!) had upgraded to superior room because description stated these rooms had "sleep number by select comfort" beds-but the beds were normal mattresses, even a little hard-hotel stated that they do not have any of the sleep number beds and didn't appear to know what i was talking about..end of story! very disappointing, esp as breakfast was not included for the room we chose (would have been if we had picked standard room) we did use hotel breakfast buffet which was very nice, but expensive. bathroom was large, big shower with great water pressure (no bidet)-large, soft towels! Free wifi was a plus, worked great in room. location was great in a safe neighborhood with a market in the next block, metro close, 5 blocks to pg de gracia (gaudi houses) then 5 blocks left to Placa catalunya/the ramblas. easy walk to sights, transportation, and shopping. the front desk was efficient but reserved, not very welcoming-housekeeping did great job-room always clean and refreshed. hard candies in room extra treat! also reasonable minibar, in room safe, flat screen TV-but no english channels! lots of little markets and restaurants near hotel. Highly recommend for stay in barcelona.
“A great hotel experience”
The hotel is located in L'Eixample neighborhood, walking distance to major points of interest, two blocks from bus and metro. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and spoke several languages, including very good English. The hotel was recently remodeled, with dramatic black/white/chrome decor. Everything was shiny and new-looking. My room was spacious and comfortable. The A/C was fully user-adjustable. The HD TV had only Spanish (and maybe Catalan) programs. No BBC or CNN, for example. American TV shows and movies were dubbed in Spanish. Free Wi-Fi was available, but the weak signal in my room was almost unusable. A friend in a different room had no problem. I had dinner in the restaurant once. The food was good and comparable in price to local restaurants. I would happily stay there again.
“Great Location, service sucks!”
The hotel is in a great location. It's very close to 2 Metro stations, Gaudi attractions and restuarants. However, the service level at the front door is lacking. We were not greeted and the check in process took clost an hour, due to waiting.
“Very nice, all around.”
The hotel was fine and the staff were all fluent in English and ready to help out if asked. The hotel is on a busy street, being a native NY'er (the city) street traffic does not bother me. If I were to stay here again, I would ask for a room in the back. There is heavy traffic on the Via Aragon, but oddly no one ever honks the horn, it's just the constant "whoosh" of street traffic. The hotel is very close to two metro stops with easy connections to the AVE and the airport.
“Wonderful”
Very nice hotel with great location. Easily arrived with train from airport - at walking distance from Passiage de Gracie. Also a metro station very close by - Girona. A very good resturant is close - La rita - recomended! A supermarket is also very close if you need something. Not far from La Rambla if you wish on walking. The hotel was great, nicely designed. Great service from hotel staff.
“Great Stay”
My wife and I arrived in Barcelona on our honeymoon and was very impressed with Hotel EuroPark. The staff was very helpful. The hotel was very comfortable and well maintained. My wife loved the closet space and the decor. They did a very good job of designing the hotel with very little space.
