Surprisingly quiet hotel on La RamblaPosted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Excellent location, helpful staff, quiet air con
Cons: Have an iron & ironing board that guests can use.
Staff were great, bathroom was good (good shower pressure and lots of hot water), room was a reasonable size with lovely quiet air conditioning. We didn't hear the street noise and the central location is close to a metro stop. The only down side was no access to an iron and occasional smell of cigarette smoke in the room at times (not sure of the origin). I would return / recommend to others.

Great location, reasonable pricePosted Jul 27, 2014
Staff extremely helpful. Ask for a room on the upper floors. We were in a room on first floor and lots of intoxicated people screaming at the back if the hotel from 11 pm on til early am. If you want a room that doesn't smell like smoke, I think you might be out of luck. Beautiful bathroom. Nice breakfast next door for $6 Euro. Nice location in Las Ramblas.

Lovely hotel, close to all activities.Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: The location was great and the hotel was clean and tidy.
Location: Ideal location. Central for shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, markets and beach.
My husband and I stayed to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We both had a great time. The hotel location was ideal to access all of the activities the area has to offer. Shops, markets restaurants and coffee shops. Busy noisy area but calm and quiet in the hotel. The room was small but clean, tidy and comfortable. Everything is within easy reach and the beach also just a short stroll away. We visited a shopping village and wandered around the streets. Bus connections are great, having never been before we found it extremely easy to get a bus from the airport to hotel (a short walk from the stop) the journey was about 30 mins and inexpensive. Staff at the hotel were helpful and the hotel felt very secure. Overall a great stay.

Great locationPosted May 27, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location! Half way up La Rambla and just a step away from the metro station of Liceu.
Cons: Tea and coffee making facilities in the room
Location: La Rambla, Old Town, Shopping (small and high street shops). The metro is convenient and offers a great way of reaching all the sights
We arrived earlier than checking in time but our room was ready and there was no problem with check in. Reception staff were very pleasant and the room was very clean. Towels were changed daily and our bedding was also renewed during our short break. The refrigerator worked well and was well used! It was a welcome change to have a complimentary safe to use during our stay. Our room was located at the back of the hotel and although the view wasn't very exciting it was very peaceful.

Great location.Posted May 26, 2014
This hotel was in a great location in the middle of La Rambla, right in the Gothc quarter. We loved everything about it except the bed. There was some kind of plastic bed pad under the bottom sheet that made sleeping uncomfortable. But otherwise great.

Had a room on the back side of the property overlooking a beautiful garden. The room was quiet even though only steps away from the Ramblas.

Great location and find!Posted May 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
While this hotel is a bit dated and the rooms are nothing fancy, you simply cannot beat the price and location. The internet was decent, the bathroom was large, and the noise level was very low. (To be fair, I was on the back side of the hotel.) I enjoyed my stay here, and if I were to be in Barcelona for a short stay again, I would certainly consider Hotel Flor Parks.

Great ValuePosted May 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
If you need the window open the Ramblias can be noisy at night but if you are used to the city this is not a problem. the window shut makes it very sound proof. Lovely place wonderful service, location can't be better I would definitely book there again

A quiet room right on the RamblasPosted May 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed the location, right across from the Opera House and Metro and within walking distance of the Boqueria Market, Carrefour Supermarket and many restaurants and museums. The 6th floor rooftop garden was a great place to bring a bottle of wine and unwind. Staff were very helpful
