“Hotel review”

Hotel was very clean and comfortable, the walk along the beach across from the hotel to the Ramblas was lovely,

“Great weekend in Barcelona”

Great value for money! Very nice hotel! Rooms are not that big, but very clean and nicely decorated, especially the bathroom. Fridge on every floor with free mineral water. Beach on the other side of the road, with a very nice little cafetaria. You have to walk 15 min. to the nearest subway station, but from there you are within 10min. in the city center.

“Enjoyable stay in a business class hotel near beach”

My husband and I spent three nights at this hotel and enjoyed our stay. Looking at maps I thought we would be farther from the beach, but we were nearly ocean front. There is a freeway between the hotel and the beach, but it is below ground level so you barely hear or see it. There are several overpasses to access the beach where there is a boardwalk all the way down to the city center. Along the way are several beach bars and restaurants. We throughly enjoyed the walk down past Port Olympic and marinas. Our room, although small according to U.S. standards was very modern and clean. The bidet was a unexpected plus. The hotel has a full breakfast buffet served downstairs which looked good, but we opted for a cafe con leche and a chocolate caliente in the bar. The hotel has two computers in the lobby with internet and wi-fi for those with computers. It also has a large screen TV in the bar. The staff helped us by calling to find out about a special cruise bus service that cost only 1.5 euro from the statue of Colon (Columbus)to the ship. The only negative we experienced was that the taxi cost more than was quoted by information at the airport, so we opted to use the metro which is three blocks back from the hotel to get to the bus to take us to our cruise ship. It is an easy trip without luggage. With luggage plan to haul bags up and down stairs as the stop has no escalators.

“Quiet Retreat by the Beach”

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at this hotel after spending 6 nights at a hotel located downtown on La Rambla. After the touristy bustle and noise of La Rambla, this hotel was a welcome retreat. It is located in a much quieter part of town, just a few minutes walk to the beach. However, it's only a five minute walk to the Selva de Mar Metro Station that can take you anywhere in the city. We often took advantage of this in the evenings for dinner and nightlife, and for a couple day trips as well. If you end up staying out late (and don't want to pay the cab fare) the restaurants, night clubs and lounges of Port Olimpico and Barceloneta are about a 20 minute walk away. The hotel was very beautiful and modern. Our room was a bit small, but it was very comfortable. The bathroom was done entirely in green marble. We were also lucky enough to have one of the few rooms that had a view of the ocean. The free bottled water in the hallways was also a definite plus. We would whole heartedly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was very pleased with this hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff at the hotel was very helpful. There is free bottled water for the guests which I was very happy about.There was free internet and a sauna.

“Very nice personnel and beach accessibility”

I was stayed at hotel for a 210 days in July and should say, that most impressive thing there - the hotel staff! They were very friendly, gentle and kindhearted! I lost my documents and all of values before check-in (yes, sometimes it happens in Barcelona, where thiefs do work everywhere) and hotels staff kindly allowed me to stay without deposit or credit card and without my ID as well! After that, I was asking them about all of things: where to go and what to see, where and how I could decrease my expenses and they were very kind, so, all info, I got was very helpful. Although, some of hotel's facilities was under reparation (shower in the gym) and I-net Wi-Fi access in public areas was very slow, overall impression from hotel is very positive: Mar Bella beach just across the road, metro station is also 5-7 minutes by walk, several cheap cafes and restaurants are nearby, room price/quality ration is marvellous!

“Very Nice”

This hotel was very nice. The only thing was the room was very small and I mean very small. It was very clean and the staff were very professional. The main tourist areas were very accessible via bus which was very inexpensive.

The room was extremely nice. The staff were very helpful. And the free bottled water wes key! I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
