“close to beach and Metro”
The location was in walking distance to the beach and the Metro station. Have to take Metro if want to see Las Ramblas and the sites, but is easy to use. The reception clerks were all helpful with directions and even made reservations for us to see a Flamenco dinner/show.
“Worst Hotel Ever”
DO NOT BOOK ROOMS IN THIS HOTEL. Beds are a nightmare, the furniture overall is the worst ive seen in a 4 star hotel, and the service is terrible.
“Great hotel very well priced for trip to Barcelona”
Very clean, efficient hotel service and modern style
“Would return”
Good hotel one block from beach close to transportation. good breakfast buffet.
“ok”
Not close enough to Las Ramblas and Attractions but close to sea however staff was friendly and helpfully
“A nice hotel in a great town”
We arrived early, dead tired, and they would not let us check in one minute early. The desk clerk must of been in the army, as he delt with us in either black or white, no grey areas for him. I thought their breakfast was extremely expensive for what was served. I would stay in another hotel next time.
“Nice & Clean”
The hotel is nice and clean. The staff is very helpful. The hotel provides unlimited bottled water. Breakfast is nice. The hotel's front door is damaged and needs to be replaced. The location is quiet at night but you have to walk 10 minutes to get to the metro and another 5 minutes ride to get to the downtown.
“Not bad at all as far as European city hotels go.”
As mentioned on other reviews, this location is far from the tourist attractions and Barca is a BIG city. But the hotel was very close to the beach. The staff was helpful and fixed issues as needed. AC did not work in first room, so we were reassigned to another, which was fine, even slightly larger. Bath was nice, but the shower design caused water to go everywhere. Between that and the fact that the hotel is at the coast in humid Barcelona, the room was very damp most of the time. Opening the window helped. Free drinking water was greatly appreciated and always available. There was internet access in the main lobby and 2 computers at the business station. Both worked well. The various lobbies and seating areas were nice and we used them for lunch and relaxation.
“Shabby and worn out hotel”
This hotel was average, what probably was unacceptable to me was the size of the room. It was barely large enough for two adults to fit in the room, let alone the bed. I realize that most of the other reviews said that the bathroom was nice, it was, but has anyone noticed the quality of the towels and floor mats. All the towels were shabby, worn out and torn and frayed at the edges. The bed cover was also torn in the middle. Overall, this room is a far cry from being a 4 star, I think those pictures on its website must be from the penthouse suite, because our room and the others we looked at (while the maids were cleaning them) did not look like the pictures on the internet! Will never stay or recommend this hotel.
“Safe,Clean”
The hotel was safe and clean did have a air condition leaking all during my stay. The front desk was helpful at times and at times kind of blew you off.
