“Wonderful stay”

Exellent hotel. A little out of the way but nice to be near the beach. Rooms clean and modern - a little small but excellent!

“Nice Hotel would stay again”

Hotel is very convenient to beach and Bus Touristic stop which is an excellent way to see Barcelona. Hotel was very well kept, front desk people were all excelllent. Standard rooms however are very small where you can barely get around your bed however most European hotels are. Bedding very comfortable but if you plan on much time in your room then I wouldn't recommend. It worked great for us.

pros: close to the beach unlimited supply of bottled water a few blocks to the mall a few blocks to the train station free internet in the room cons: no dvd in the room room smelled like somebody smoked (suppose to be no-smoking room)

“Too far from main attractions”

This hotel is clean,modern and situated in a quiet area, although our twin room was fairly small. This was our first visit to Barcelona and we found that the hotel was just too far away from the main attractions and although a bus service stopped just outside the hotel, the service was rather infrequent and we mainly used taxis (which were very expensive). There were a few local tapas bars close to the hotel, but we had to go into the centre of Barcelona each evening to find variety of restaurants. We tried the hotel dining room on our first night but walked out when the main course was served, it was so poor. The main advantage of this hotel was that it was good to relax on the beach in the late afternoon, after sightseeing for most of the day, as the weather was really good. We did not expect the weather to be so hot in October. Overall enjoyment of our stay at the hotel I would rate as 75 per cent.

“Very pleasant hotel - perfect for beach lovers”

We joined friends who had also booked at this hotel and we were all very satisfied with our rooms, the friendly and helpful staff and the "express" breakfast which we took every morning consisting of a juice, coffee or tea and a croissant. Naturally, there is a full buffet breakfast available too. Given its location close to the sea front, this must be a popular hotel in summer. For visiting the Gaudi buildings, art galleries and museums, it is a little far from the centre but this means that there is no traffic noise. The nearest metro station is a few blocks' away, say 10 minutes walk but there is a bus route which passes nearby too.

“Nice & Clean”

The hotel is nice and clean. The staff is very helpful. The hotel provides unlimited bottled water. Breakfast is nice. The hotel's front door is damaged and needs to be replaced. The location is quiet at night but you have to walk 10 minutes to get to the metro and another 5 minutes ride to get to the downtown.

“For this price, the best you can get.”

Be careful with reservation. The hotel consists of two buildings. The rooms with seaview in the one floor building at the Paseo have rush hour traffic during weekdays. In the second building not all rooms have seaview. Some only from the side. Nevertheless a nice hotel with garage. And I was glad to have the car with me, since it is relatively far from city center.
