Close to Sagrada Familia far from RamblasPosted Jun 19, 2014
Cons: The general decor of the hotel room could do with an upgrade. I had an internal window so limited light and was quite gloomy inside.
Hotel was an enjoyable stay and the staff at the front were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. The hotel is located a 10 minute walk to Sagrada Familia, probably more of a 25 minute walk both to the La Ramblas and to Barceloneta Beach I was under the impression it was closer to the centre of Barcelona so was a little disappointed in this but none the less was happy to walk. The hotel only provide 2 pillows which were as flat as a pancake. When I asked for more pillows they advised that they had none to provide - this was ordinary. The next day however I asked again and was provided with two more.
