“Comfortable and Convenient”

For the visitor to Barcelona who is seeking a comfortable location close to the sites of Barcelona the Hotel Gotico is your destination. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the view out of our window looked right into the Latin Quarter. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Stay would have been more enjoyable had they not experienced some sort of plumbing/sewage problem. The sewage smell in our room was most unpleasant. Skip the continental breakfast, it was not up to typical European standards.

the staff at hotel gotico were friendly and helpful. we arrived at 8am and as there was a room empty were allowed to check in right away, no charge, others were dropping off bags at all times of day, no problem. I was there in September so do not know how hot it would be in the summer. Great location, my room, facing centre was quiet. Bathroom fixtures old but functional. Good value for the money. Didn't eat there, didn't go to spain to eat in the hotels I guess.

“Great Hotel in the Gothic Quarter”

This is a wonderful hotel just steps away from the cathedral in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. Many great restaurants as well as Las Ramblas are within a short walking distance. A very helpful city tourism office is located about 1/2 block away. We had a great time at this hotel.

Well located hotel. Just near Metro. Old fashioned decor in keeping with building. Clean. Affordable. Pleasant, helpful, unobtrusive staff. Very impressed.

We were satisfied with the hotel. The location was/is excellent. The nearby restaurants are good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

“Perfect location in Barcelona”

Hotel Gotico was located very near a major thoroughfare and just across from Jaume I metro station. It was walking distance to La Rambla and to the Born district (Great place to go for drinks and nightlife). The room was small, but not moreso than an average European hotel. The bathroom was nice, the beds were comfortable, and the closet was big enough to get everything out of the way. We didn't get up for breakfast, so can't comment on the quality of that.

“A Good City Break Hotel”

This Hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the Gothic Quarter and allows visitors to explore this wonderful city by foot or Public Transport. The hotel offers good accommodaton for a mini City Break Holiday and the staff are very efficient. Suprisingly quiet at night-time for its' position. Hope to return soon to experience the places of interest we missed.

Was at the heart of the gothic quarter. metro entrance only 1/2 a block away. really nice elegant atmosphere. room and bathroom were extremely spacious. concierge weren't all that helpful but everything else was great.

“Good value and great location”

The Hotel was part of an enjoyable trip. The hotel personel were very supportive and helpful. The complementry breakfast was outstanding and provided a wide selection to choose from. We were part of a group of eight and everyone seemed pleased.

4 couples stayed here at the end of a meditteranean cruise. The hotel was in a great location and the staff was very pleasant. The beds are very hard and the air conditioning didn't really work. We left our tv on all night to drown out the sounds of the all night partying going on in Barcelona and the air conditioning fan. All in all, we were pleased but not blown away.
