“Brilliant place to stay”

This was our first visit to Barcelona and we couldn't have chosen a better hotel. It's very modern, all glass and steel and natural materials, but it couldn't be more comfortable and the staff are truly delightful. Easy to walk everywhere or take the Metro from just round the corner. We felt very safe here too, having been warned about pickpockets we were extra cautious but found only kindness. Delicious breakfast and dinner, well worth the cost.

“Really high class boutique hotel”

The decor and architecture of the hotel are instantly impressive, creating a dark but stylish atmosphere. The location is central but on a less busy road so not noisy. The only minor issue I had was that the hotel staff on the desk were not friendly but were intimidating. This did not lessen my enjoyment of the surroundings.

“Wow!”

This is an excellent Hotel! I would definitely stay again. The Hotel staff were very accommodating and knowledgeable and over overwhelmingly ready to serve. Just a few steps from some of the most beautiful walking streets including Las Ramblas, but it was a bit of a hike from Plaza Catalunya where the bus from the airport drops you. Overall it was a great stay and we will definitely stay again.

“Fantastic Stay”

We recently spent a weekend in Barcelona staying at the Hotel Granados 83. Although located in a quieter part of town there are many bars and restaurants withn walking distance. Las Ramblas is only a 15 minute walk away. The room was clean,contemporary and extremely comfortable and the service was top notch. All the hotel staff speak excellent English and are very helpful. We would definately go back to Barcelona and stay at Hotel Granados 83 again.

“Excellent place to stay in Barcelona”

We were recommended this hotel by someone who grew up in Barcelona and goes back every summer. It met our every expectation and more. We especially liked the doormen/porters who were helpful beyond just casual greetings and welcome. Loved the rooftop bar!

The hotel is in a wonderful, and very safe location. The hotel staff extremely helpful in obtaining restaurant reservations, and sightseeing trips. Would absolutely go back to this location and this hotel!

“Great boutique hotel in the heart of the city, rooms somewhat small for two people”

Granados 83 is a new boutique hotel that opened its doors in 2005. The 4 star hotel is located in a quiet street, 4 blocks from popular Paseo de Gracia and La Pedrera. Hotel is neat, with minimalist furniture and designer inspiration: red bricks, leather furniture, staff dressed in black. Rooms have minimalist decor - leather headboard and sofa, widescreen TV. Very clean. Advice: Rooms can be small if you are traveling with partner and look for spaciousness. Only complaint: Hotel staff is laid back when delivering telephone messages. Twice I got my messages with 18 hours delay. Nonetheless, good value for your money.

“Excellent experience”

A nice quiet hotel in a lovely neighborhood with just enough nightlife to enjoy your evening while allowing for a restful sleep. Convenient to the metro and local attractions. Rooms were adequately spacious and comfortable. We received a warm welcome. Hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating. A couple of very good nearby restaurants. Plan to return again on the next trip to Barcelona.
