“Chic and Relaxed”

This hotel was far better than we expected. A wonderful location, in that it is on a quiet side street but is a short walk to the main parts of the city, is combined with an chic, elegant and relaxed interior. For the money we expectd something more downscale and instead found it more upscale than we had hoped for.

It is a great boutique hotel. It was quite, restful and pleasant. We used the city ticket for metro and bus travel. Only walk a couple of blocks to get to the metro.

“Barcelona - great hotel”

Great hotel. Perfect location. Skip the expensive breakfast and we never did get a straight answer on wifi, 1hr a day, free in the lobby. Or not. But it was a great room good beds, super clean and stylish. I'd stay there again FOR SURE. Oh and they stored our bags for free while we took a 2 day trip off to Bilbao.

“Spanish Honeymoon”

The Nixe Palace is an amazing hotel in a gorgeous setting , with a fantastic view in a perfect location! The hotel is not much to behold from the street side, but as soon as you walk into the marble lobby and catch your first glimpse of the expansive ocean view- you're swept away! Each guest room, I believe, has a balcony & view of the ocean and neighboring cliffs and amazing old buildings perched on them. You're only steps from the beach and conveniently located within restaurants, pharmacies, & a couple cute bars. It's about 10 minute walk to a major shopping mall and the beginning on the Marina area, and about a 10 min cab ride to Old Palma: A perfect & NON_ COMMERCIAL our tourist overrun location.

“Style and substance plus great service”

Stylish room, high-quality materials, friendly helpful staff... Everything went well really. A nice surprise and a breath of fresh air - a happy departure from the hip hotels that only have to offer a trendy design. Would definitely come back and will certainly recommend. Kudos especially for service.

“Wow!”

This is an excellent Hotel! I would definitely stay again. The Hotel staff were very accommodating and knowledgeable and over overwhelmingly ready to serve. Just a few steps from some of the most beautiful walking streets including Las Ramblas, but it was a bit of a hike from Plaza Catalunya where the bus from the airport drops you. Overall it was a great stay and we will definitely stay again.

We were recommended this hotel by someone who grew up in Barcelona and goes back every summer. It met our every expectation and more. We especially liked the doormen/porters who were helpful beyond just casual greetings and welcome. Loved the rooftop bar!

The hotel is in a wonderful, and very safe location. The hotel staff extremely helpful in obtaining restaurant reservations, and sightseeing trips. Would absolutely go back to this location and this hotel!

“Great boutique hotel in the heart of the city, rooms somewhat small for two people”

Granados 83 is a new boutique hotel that opened its doors in 2005. The 4 star hotel is located in a quiet street, 4 blocks from popular Paseo de Gracia and La Pedrera. Hotel is neat, with minimalist furniture and designer inspiration: red bricks, leather furniture, staff dressed in black. Rooms have minimalist decor - leather headboard and sofa, widescreen TV. Very clean. Advice: Rooms can be small if you are traveling with partner and look for spaciousness. Only complaint: Hotel staff is laid back when delivering telephone messages. Twice I got my messages with 18 hours delay. Nonetheless, good value for your money.
