“June Stay”

My friend and I stayed at the HCC Montblanc in the beginning of June, and we were both very pleased with the quality of service and the room itself. The location of the hotel was great (a block away from the Gothic Quarter and shopping, and a 10 minute walk to La Rambla), and the desk staff were very helpful. We went to a flemenco show, for which we purchased tickets at the front desk, and they called our taxi and told our driver where to take us. Also, they called our taxi for the airport. The room we stayed in was nothing fancy, but it was very clean. There was a little bit of street noise but nothing too bad. All in all, great place to stay for the price.

“Great Hotel in Barcelona and very reasonably priced!”

My wife and I loved this hotel. The staff spoke English, which was great since our Spanish isn't very good. This hotel is very clean, the staff is extremely helpful and pleasant, and the hotel is very well located to a lot of the sights you might like to see in Barcelona, including Las Ramblas. Would highly recommend!

“Great location, clean and comfortable, pool and terrace area a little gem”

Fabulous location about 5 mins from Catalunya where the Aerobus drops you off (4.25euros each way) and 5-10mins to Barri Gotic area. Carrer Comtal great little street just down from hotel has a Starbucks, Taller Tapas and El Mos where you can buy cakes and baguettes for breakfast or lunch. Room was very quiet and clean, staff very helpful. The pool and terrace area was great after a days sightseeing. Didn't do breakfast in hotel as it seemed very expensive at 17 euros each but plenty of options not far from hotel.

“Excellent”

Very good location, near to airport bus point, yet not too noisy from traffic etc. Barcelona has everything: City Sights, Beach and also a day trip to Montesserat so everyday was different. Excellent

“Excellent Location”

Convenient location. One block to Plaza Catalyuna where you get the metro and cheap bus ride to and from airport. Five minute walk to all the exciting neighborhoods downtown. Very quiet and clean. Ask for more pillows, they are on the lean side. Would stay there again.

“Very nice hotel”

The hotel is very nice and in a great location in Barcelona. Metro is very close. The staff is very polite and helpful. Some of the staff spoke very little English. Rooms are clean and well maintained. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Good location for sightseeing. Easy walking to major sites. Good breakfast, not too expensive. Accomodative staff. Nice modern building. Would go back again.

“Great Location”

The carpets in the hotel need updating and it would be nice to have TV that had at least one english channel. The Hotel is in a great location to walk to everything. LaRamblas is only 2 streets over very close to the pissaco museum and other great sites. Never ate in the restraunt on site so not sure if its any good. Was told to watch out for pickpockets but never saw any or had any trouble with them. Very safe city with plenty of police around, felt safe to walk around at night . The staff was great and all could speak english. I can't wait to go back to Barcelona would most definitely stay at this hotel again.

“A great hotel”

The hotel was centrally located to Bus tour routes, and Las ramblas - the heart of the City The only thing missing was a faster internest and 1-2 more electrical outlets in the room so I did not need to unplug a light to charge some of my electronices I would reccomend this hotel
