“Close to beach...45 min walk to La Rambla area”

We were happy with our stay at this hotel. There morning breakfast (12 euros or 9 euros if reserved night before) is very good, but be sure to specify if you only want it for one day or your entire stay. We only ate there the first morning, but they tried to charge us for all four mornings when we checked out. There are several breakfast options available just 2 blocks towards the city center on Avenida Icaria, "Elias" was our favorite, but others were adequate for a bocadilla and cafe con leche. We parked on the side street right next to hotel entrace, which was free parking, our entire stay. It was not high season, so this may not be an option at other times. Plenty of pay parking available on main road (Icaria), which is free overnight. It is a short walk to the beach, but not so close to main part of city. We walked with a 5 year old from the hotel to the Gothic Quarter, down La Rambla, and back along Barceloneta and we survivied (although beat and a little sore!). Our only complaint about the room was that it lacked shampoo and conditioner in the shower, only a general wash for body and hair. Not an option for thick long-haired ladies like me. This seems to be common in Europe, so bring your own conditioner if you need it.

“Great hotel in Barcelona”

This hotel is very convenient to the beach as well as the public transportation lines making it easy to get anywhere in Barcelona. The room was comfortable, spacious, and clean and the staff was very helpful. I'll recommend it to my friends.

“Good to go to the beach”

Far from the metro station (800mts) and all the turist points . Very good to go to the beach. 10 minuts by walk to the best point of Barcelona´s beach. The room is too small to 3 and the wifi was too busy.

“Beatutiful Hotel in the outskirts of Barcelona”

Clean and modern with very friendly staff. Several blocks from the closest metro stop. Decent neighborhood but not alot around. Proximity to the beach is very nice.

“Not Great for Ryanair folks”

This hotel is a great price, but it is about 10 minutes by the bus to the old town. The bus comes regularly, except first thing in the morning when you may need to get to a Ryanair flight. The walk to the underground is a km. You can't see it from the hotel, but it is located just two blocks from the beach. Most of the desk staff seemed like they could give a sh..., like they were too busy to be of help. 15 euro for breakfast is outrageous. You can get a cup of coffee for 2 euro. We would stay there again.

4 Gats in the Old Town, is a great restaurant, and it's not too expensive. Picasso hung out here along with the other artists. He designed the menu.

“Good for the price”

I spend 6 nights and was good for the price. Some small issues with the maintenance of the rooms, but nothing big. The location is very quit place but far away from the center of the city. The buses run until 11:20 PM and the metro (subway) its around 8 blocks aways that is not bad at all. But if you want to be very late at night in the center and you don't want to spend in taxi, this is not the right place to stay. If you will be back early at the hotel and you really want to rest during the night without any noise, this is the right hotel for you. Is close to the beach and that is good if you will have a little time. Is clean and confortable and maybe I will pick this hotel again.
