Top quality hotel for reasonable money.Posted Nov 14, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness of the room, quality of the fittings and décor.
Cons: It sounds silly but the stylish stools and chairs in the lovely bar are terrible!
Location: Especially handy for the high end shops on Passeig de Gràcia, Plaza de Catalunya and the nearby tube and rail stations (Passeig de Gràcia).
Every bit as good as i'd read about in other reviews. Had a great room overlooking the pool area. Very clean and very quiet. Great location too...

Good location, close to everything including metroPosted Sep 13, 2013
Pros: Very clean and modern.
Cons: temperature of pool
Location: able to walk to La Sagrada Familia
Lovely pool area where you can sit in the sun, order food or a drink. Would be good if the pool was heated a little.

Great hotel and location!Posted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: Location and attentive personnel, breakfast and lunch are great. Rooms are excellent and free WiFi.
Cons: The hotel lobby Mac computer could not access sites in English only Spanish, this has probably been correct by now.
Location: Location is perfect walking distance to Plaza Catalunya and Ramblas.
This hotel located at Granvia is close to Plaza Catalunya, the hotel is totally renovated and we did enjoy our stay very much. Sometimes it was clear that the hotel is totally new and so were most of the staff but everyone very pleasant and polite. The hotel lunch menu was excellent and at a great price! We definitely recommend it and we will go back too! Carlos at the restaurant was very accommodating and so were the people at the bar.

Wonderful stayPosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Everything about our stay at this hotel was wonderful. Had a great gin and tonic at the hotel bar:). The room was spotless and the bathroom was perfect. Couldn't ask for more.

Great hotel in Barca.Posted Aug 29, 2013
Pros: Rooms, staff.
Cons: Nothing, except I'm sure the lifts are being powered by a set of mice pulling them on string!
Location: Everything on the doorstep. You do need to walk 5-10 minutes to get to bars and restaurants, but PDG is 5 mins walk.
Lovely boutique hotel, rooms nice, staff nice. Pool nice, albeit small, you wouldn't expect any more in central Barcelona. 5 minute walk from PDG and Placa De Catalunya.

A great timePosted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: Helpfullness of the staff
Cons: Pool size
Location: A short walk to the nearest metro (2 mins) and the town centre (10 mins).
We, my wife, daughter and myself, enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much. The staff were exceptionally helpful with every request/query we had and looked after us as much as we have come to expect these days (a lot, from many years of travelling). One thing I would suggest is the size of the pool should be made clearer in the advertising, this didn't bother us too much as only our daughter used it and she loved it, but could be disappointing to some. Another point is the quality of the breakfast, we didn't prepay for it but should have, it was marvelous. Thanks.

Smart and ChicPosted Jul 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Location - in a nice area. 5 mins walk to a metro stop or 10 mins to the main la ramblas tourist hit spot. 45 mins walk to the beach and 20/30 mins to the gothic area. Very easy to get to all major attractions and ample bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. If coming from the airport on the train you can get a direct train to place?? de gracias. Hotel - modern smart and chic. Small but well equipped. Pool is small but nice for dipping and the outside area is nice to sit. Bar was great but I didn't get the chance to eat. Room - Tiny. Difficult to move but very clean and confortable. Nice shower and nice extras including an nespresso machine and fresh orange juice daily. Not enough room for clothes for two people although I think larger rooms are available. Staff - always said hello and seemed friendly but whenever we ask for help with directions they hadn't a clue. One didn't even know the quickest way to the airport - surely that's not an uncommon request! Overall a smart hotel which given the high room rates across the city is probably fairly priced and worth the money. If your looking for something snazzy with a bit of class but don't want to pay silly money then this will be a great choice. Well located and easy to get everywhere.
