“Hotel Medium City”

This hotel is very well located near the Sants rail station. Metro station one minute walk. My only complaint about the are is the lack of decent restaurants in that particular area. Of course this has no bearin on the hotel but other areas of town are better for good food. Other than that; this hotel I will stay in next time Im on Barcelona.

“Ok hotel in Barcelona”

The room we got was for three persons. The beds were small european style beds, and firm. Nice location close to Metro, and right across from park. No breakfast included but had restaurant that you can pay for breakfast.

“This hotel was great value for the money”

This hotel is not in the center of Barcelona, but there are sights within walking distance and it is only 1 block from the metro station making it very easy to get around. Hotel was very clean, quiet, a good value for the money.

We stayed here the night before and after our cruise leaving from the Barcelona port. I was very happy to find that the front desk personel spoke english! there was a small grocery store right around the corner for food, and a few other restaurants if you wanted to go out and eat. There was also a nice little park right outside the hotel which was good for relaxing, reading, etc...

This was a great hotel, the room was so welcoming, also alot of space around, AC working wonderfully, the design of the room was amazing, i really enjoyed the stay, i would recommend this to all couples. Thanks CITYPARK HOTEL NICARAGUA!!!

“Not Impressed”

This hotel was nice but I don't think it qualifies for being a 4 star hotel. We have stayed at nicer 3 star hotels in Europe. We only stayed one night but the heating did not work. It was in December when the cold spell hit but they really had a problem on their hands. Everyone was polite but I was disappointed.

“Shame about the restaurant”

The reason for only giving 3 as an overal rating was due to the restaurant / bar. It was as though it was owned by a different company, in fact the hotel reception staff told us that it was, but Expedia asked the hotel manager & he told them that it was in fact owned by the hotel. I've never stayed in a hotel before that closed its restaurant / bar to residents. It was closed for the whole evening for a private party. The breakfast staff were very unfriendly & the choice of cereals reduced by the day, they were never replaced as they were used. It's a shame, because the hotel reception staff were good as was the room.

“not impressed - overpriced and under performing- adequate at best”

The rooms were comfortable and while the hotel was outside the city centre it was well linked up on the transport network. However in trying to pass itself as a 4 star hotel with prices to match this hotel fell far short of it's billing. We arrived late to a room with almost no lighting and after some tooing and froing at midnight they moved some lights into our room. The reception/bar/ reception area and facilities were always undermanned so if you wanted anything you would have to wait. Room cleaning also shabby, any glassware or crockery would almost certainly be left after the maids had done the bed linen and bathrooms. The bathrooms were well kiited out, but the roooms themselves had not been decorated for far too long and although pretty comfortable were tatty looking. The buffet Breakfast was alwys very poorly organised with very little available without hounding the 'difficult to pin down staff'. Internet facilities were also limited and extortionately expensive. In summary if this hotel halved its price and koncked at least one star of its billing we would have been less disappointed, it was poorly run.
