“Cosy Hotel”

Nice hotel, friendly staff. It was very clean, and if you do opt to pay for breakfast, I wouldn't say it's cheap, but it's not expensive either, and it's quite a good buffet. Not far from Las Ramblas, about 5 minute walk. There's a convenient metro station a stone throw away, and it's a popular destination for several buses. I definately recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

Staff are friendly. Hotel is located on a busy main road and traffic can be heard at all hours in certain rooms atthe front of the hotel. There is also a vibration from the metro underground. Noisey water pipes can be heard in the rooms also. Bath tubs are half the length of the 'normal' size bath but fun can still be had!! Overall a pleasant stay!!

This hotel is a great value for your money. I was impressed with the friendly service and cleanliness of hotel. The rooms are adequate size and comforatble but not very exciting. The hotel is central but not in the best neighborhood,not terrible but noisey and a little seedy on the side streets.

“Great hotel”

Pleasantly surprised by the ease of getting to the hotel, right next to the metro station Para-lel, and on arrival very impressed with its appearance, both exterior and the interiors. Had been worried prior to visit after reading reports about its location, with the hotel situated at the junction of two busy roads but this was absolutely no problem as the traffic could barely be heard.All the staff were friendly and articulate and a pleasure to deal with. The only negative was some of the neighbourhood you needed to walk through to get to the cultural centre of Barcelona but this was only an issue at night. Overall a very pleasant stay at a quality hotel

“Comfortable and Clean Hotel in Good Location”

We stayed here for 9 nights and overall, we were pleased with the hotel. The location is great! It's a 1 minute walk to a major metro station. We like to walk so we also took advantage of the 10 minute walk to La Rambla; From La Rambla, we could walk to other major areas. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Our daily housekeeping was great. The business center offers free internet--it's a slow connection though. They also offer free printing. The CPUs are locked so you have to ask the front desk to charge your iPod and other USB devices. The "gym" has outdated equipment. Get your exercise by walking rather than by riding the metro. Request an inside room as the hotel is located on a major street and it's very loud. We had to change from an exterior room to an interior room because of the noise. We had to sacrifice a double bed but the twin beds are pushed together so it really made no difference. Staff speaks excellent English and was able to help with all our inquiries.

“One night stand (with my wife)”

The hotel is tastefully decorated; the rooms are quite small but well equipped. We had to request a room change because the air conditioning unit was not working. Then the mini bar in the new room had to be changed, as it was not working. The maintenance man was very helpful and efficient. We only spent one night, so have no other comments.

“Barcelona hotel at reasonable price”

Hotel is in a decent area of Barcelona (close to some marginal areas) and on a bus route to travel the city. Tapas bars and coffee bars are close by. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern, clean but not spacious. There is a morning breakfast bar in the hotel but fairly expensive. There is wireless internet available which worked well.

“In just the right place - out of bustle but easy walk to main part”

Room was comfortable although was advertised as four star, I think three star really but no complaints
