“Beautifully Situated, Extremely Charming, Surprising and Elegant Decore”

Outstanding visit due to the wonderful location, in heart of the urban delights of Barcelona -- charming hostess and staff and ammenities top notch. Would be delighted, thrilled to go back --not only to Barcelona, but to this very hotel.

I researched for a month to find a good hotel in Barcelona and the Murmuri turned out to be the best. I stayed 4 nights there. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff speaks very good English and were polite and accommodating. The location is good. Rambla de Catalunya has a variety of shops and tapas restaurants (would recommend Taller de Tapas and Cachitos). If you fly into Barcelona, I'd highly recommend the Aerobus. It's 5.30 Euros and takes you directly to Placa Catalunya. From there it's about a 10 block walk up Rambla Catalunya to the hotel. Not bad if the weather is nice. This is definitely going to be my hotel whenever I'm in Barcelona.

The entire hotel front desk spoke English. They couldn't have been more helpful. T hey got out maps and showed us exactly where to go.

It is a smart boutique hotel, only 58 rooms, modern decor, prompt service, friendly staff. The hotel is brand new, and unfortunately they had no hot water the evening we arrived, though that was sorted out the next day. Situated very close to a couple of main tourist sites (Gaudi buildings). I would stay there again.

we couldn't fault this hotel - a little over our usual price range but really worth it especially in a stylish city like Barcelona - very close to gaudi's casa milla, easy walk to la rambla - also very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable staff keen to help. the rooms were really comfortable, great bathrooms, and there is a fabulous bar too!

Our stay at Murmuri hotel was fantastic. Very well located. Near great sights without very touristic surroundings. The staff was very friendly. Room decoration was hip and modern. Restaurant and bar had very good quality. I do not think hotel's description in your site makes justice to the high level of this hotel.

“Fantastic hotel in a great area of Barcelona”

The hotel Murmuri on Rambla Catalunya street is one super place to stay! Quietly elegant rooms with large bathroom; most helpful front desk staff;on-site restaurant/bar for convenience. Would return to this hotel anytime I find myself in Barcelona!! The hotel is ocated bout 2 blks from upscale Paseo de Gracia with their shops of Chanel, Yves St. Laurent, and Gucci, etc. Out of our budget but fun to look at their window displays and dream. Many cafes, tapa bars,restaurants on the hotel street of Rambla Catalunya heading towards Placa Catalunya or The Rambles, a good 8-10blks away. We walked everywhere but Metro and bus stops are very close. You are right smack in the heart of everything....fairly close to museums, Gaudi architecture, the Tourist Bus stops, wine and art galleries....you have it all. We felt completely safe at all times walking as we did. both in daytime and at night. We had no incidents of pick-pocketing attempts. I really believe that was due to the location and area of our hotel.

Fabulouse new (2008) hotel. Designer interiors and staff. Rooms were fantastic. Breakfast great - if you're not going to start sight-seeing too early. VERY generous measures in the bar late at night.

We would definitely stay at the Murmuri again; the room wasn't huge, but very well appointed and stylish, with everything you really needed.
