“Thoroughly Pleasurably Experience”

The Palace Hotel was a thoroughly pleasurable experienced: professional, helpful staff; comfortable, quiet room; centrally located. The TV hidden in a wall mirror is typical of the "classy," understated elegance of the great, old-style hotels such as the Ritz (to which chain the Palace once belonged). What's not to like?

This hotel is a bit spendy but worth every penny! The location is in the center of everything and close to all the good shopping! Breakfast buffet was worth the extra euros and the staff is attentive and very helpful. They made us reservations at a restaurant with a month waiting list for the same day and were always available to answer questions and make suggestions!! A+++

“Wonderful hotel in Barcelona”

We just came back from Barcelona and our stay at Hotel Palace. It was perfect. The staff was very helpful and all spoke English. OUr room was spacious a large bathroom. There was seating and a work space. The only cautious is there are 3 hotels on the same block and our taxi let us off at the wrong one even though we gave him the correct address. Thank goodness, this hotel was only 2 blocks away.

“Wish I could spend a month there!!”

Hotel was fabulous. Upgraded to Junior Suite at same price. Service was fantastic and accommodations were excellent. Location was perfect bus, shopping and site seeing. Don't pass this one up.

Great hotel, 100% and more on all services, maintanace and comfort. The only problem is extremley high prices for room internet use($12 for 45 Minutes!!), Charged by a local contractor of the hotel.

If you want a great place to stay near downtown, this is awesome. It might be a little expensive but probably worth it :)
