It's one the best hotel I've stayed at in a very long while.... Bearing in mind I've been going on holidays every year for the past 5 years. I've simply no negatives about this hotel, it's simply the best and I'm already looking forward to staying there again next summer!!! I love it

A Great Boutique Hotel

Posted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: The ambiance, the feeling of going back in time, the Honesty Bar, the staff, the comfortable beds with wonderful sheets, the thick towels and more....
Cons: Nothing
We loved this Hotel. It is tucked away in a higher end suburb of Barcelona. The reception area, entrance to the hotel and parking is tucked inside a driveway that runs under the building. It felt like a horse drawn carriages should be going through this tunnel rather than cars. I am so glad that we didn't stay in the busy downtown section of Barcelona. For those who love the city life, then this hotel is not for you. After a tiring day of seeing the sites of Barcelona, it was a breath of fresh air to come back to our hotel. We had booked a Junior Suite because we wanted a Balcony. We were upgraded to an apartment. The apartment was on the 4th floor with a large living room, bedroom and bathroom. In the evening, we would make our drinks at the Honesty bar, sit down and relax in this very large comfortable sitting room. The breakfasts was great with coffee, pastries and egg dishes. The reception desk was extremely helpful on how to get around to the various sites. If we ever come back to Barcelona, I would definitely stay at this hotel.

Beautiful hotel just outside city centre

Posted Jun 12, 2015
Pros: We liked everything, especially the Honesty Bar, where you could help yourself to alcohol, but you had to fill the form in.
Cons: The lighting around the hotel and in the room
Location: The hotel is a few minutes from Les Tres Torres tube station and we were a few minutes away from the city centre.
We arrived early, and our bags were taken and looked after for us and we went into the dining area, where we helped ourselves to cakes and fresh coffee. This was free and available all day long. Sometimes they had fruit instead of cakes. The continental breakfast in the morning was amazing and you could help yourself. If you wanted a cooked breakfast, you could ask the staff, but that was extra. The room was lovely but it was dark in places. But I guess they were trying to make it feel relaxing. Only downside to experience was that I was pick pocketed and my purse and phone were taken. When reporting it to the police, 4 other people was filling in the same form as us. So hang onto your possessions, unlike me!

This is probably the best Hotel experience in the last year. Nice hotel, staff and amaizing room. Strongly recomeded breakfast. I appreciated the staff attention to the clients, after requesting an extended stay, the answer was simply: no problem! I will return.

A great hotel in a quiet suburban residential area

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: See above
Cons: No
Location: A good range of restaurants within 10 minutes walk
This hotel is 10 minutes walk to a subway station and from there 12 minuts to Placa Catalunia. Staff at check-in were great. They gave us a city map and marked up the locations of key attractions and areas. They also gave us a map of the lacal area and details of good local restaurants. They took us up to our room and showed us all the facitities. Breakfast is a good continental buffet with breads, croissants, pastries, meats, cheese, hard boiled eggs. Lots of choice of hot drinks, coffees, teas as well as orange and water. There is a garden at the back of the hotel with a pool and sun beds. The breakfast room doubles as the bar that also serves a small range of hot food at lunch and dinner times.

Calming and cool

Posted May 15, 2015
Pros: Staff, room, honor bar, lounge, outside grounds, relaxing vibe, great local, view from room.
Cons: Lighting in room (it's kind of dark), Drawers for clothes in room.
Location: Quiet location in urban neighborhood. There are some restaurants and bars near by but most of the attractions are a short subway ride away.
Arrived in Barcelona 4/27/15 at 4:30 pm. Our hotel stay was from 4/27/15 - 5/8/15. Taxi fare was 33 euro from airport to Primero Primera hotel. The hotel is located in a very nice urban neighborhood somewhat removed from the more touristy areas. I found this to be a positive. It's so easy to get to the popular areas and it's really nice to end each day in a calm quiet environment. Barcelona's rail system is cheap, convenient, safe and punctual. There are two subway stations within a couple of blocks of the hotel. Get on the L6 line and your just a few minutes from most of the popular attractions. The hotel is not easy to recognize as a hotel from the street. Its surrounded by a beautifully manicured hedge and rock wall. As I entered the grounds my blood pressure immediately dropped. This place has the most relaxed, cool vibe I have ever experienced in a hotel. Checking in was painless. The attendant spoke perfect English (My Spanish sucks and my Catalan is non existent) and personally showed us around the grounds, explaining all services and amenities. She then showed us to our room. (#44) The room was far larger than what you would expect in a major European city. Great view from the large picture window. The shower was awesome. Complimentary soft drink mini bar (including bottled water) was nice. This room had electric blackout shades. Great little honor bar and lounge in lobby. The main bar and restaurant were nice as well. Great Hotel!
