Lovely quiet boutique hotelPosted Oct 21, 2014
Cons: Nothing - keep doing what you are doing
We stayed at Primero Primera for 7 nights and found it to be one of the nicest European hotels we have every stayed in (and we have travelled quite a lot) The breakfasts were excellent both in quality and quantity. All the staff were helpful, charming and I can't praise them enough. Our room was smashing. We can't find any fault with this extremely nice hotel. It is situated within a short walk of a station which takes you into the centre of Barcelona very quickly. The trains are frequent and efficient. Buy a T10 ticket for 10.3 Euros, giving you 10 trips on the train (or 5 trips for you and a friend)

FABULOUSLY RELAXING HOTELPosted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: EVERYTHING! Such a lovely atmosphere, most welcoming and very relaxing and quiet.
Location: As I had already mentioned the Metro is only a 5 minute walk so you have the whole of Barcelona at your finger tips.
An excellent choice for our extended weekend away. We had the superior room in the attic, a gorgeous room. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Great location only being a 5 minute walk from the Metro which in turn is then a 10 minute journey to the centre of Barcelona, so you get the best of both worlds!

Old world charm.Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: I liked the spacious rooms and the helpful staff.
Cons: I'm not sure how it can be improved but you have to walk through the dining room to get to the pool area.
Location: The location is a leafy suburban street, with hospitals and schools nearby. We did not find things to do but we were happy to catch the metro.
A lovely hotel with wonderful staff. Breakfast is tasty and the complimentary drinks in the rooms are a treat especially on hot days. The only disadvantage would be that it is not near Las Ramblas or the Gothic district if that is what you're after. It is in a quiet residential district however the metro is close by and 10 euro buys you 10 trips to all the major attractions.

Relaxing hotel in quiet areaPosted Sep 27, 2014
Pros: Very warm and relaxing atmosphere, with extremely helpful staff.
Cons: Room lighting
Location: The hotel is located a few metro stops from the centre of Barcelona in a quiet area. Not a lot of attractions nearby, but easy access to the metro.
This is a very welcoming hotel with friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a relaxing environment that is a couple of metro stops from the centre of Barcelona. The only criticism would be that the rooms probably need stronger lighting, especially for reading at night, but this was a minor issue.

Location: Metro Restaurants and cafés Shops Residential neighborhood Parks
Great hotel and lively residential neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops. The metro is approx. 10 minutes away and within easy walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the area since it was a nice break from the touristy parts of Barcelona.

Lovely, quiet hotel not far from centre.Posted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: Beautifully designed and decorated, quiet, elegant and comfortable.
Cons: Perhaps better directions on the website.
Location: Not masses to do in the immediate proximity, but it's a short walk from the metro system and it doesn't take long to get into the city centre.
Firstly, the place looks very appealing. Attention to detail and carefully considered decoration. Comfortable rooms, plenty amenities, and friendly, helpful staff. Small touches like the complimentary mini-bar and honour bar in the reading room made the place very welcoming. Quiet and restful yet only a few minutes on the metro to the bustle of the heart of Barcelona. Highly recommended.
